My younger brother was involved in an accident over 5 weeks ago, infact, he rolled his mini on the way out of his school. Terribly irrisonsible I know, but we've all been young and, frankly clueless at one point (fortunitely for me I got all the rolling out of the way on an old quad bike, you only do that once...)
But to the point, he gave a statement to the cumbrian police at the time, and just today (5 weeks later) they have arrived at his school demanding that he is to go to the police station and give a statment regarding the accident which they are terming as a 'collision' as he hit a hedge, whilst upside down.
He actually has an outstanding speeding offence on the M74, broad day light between Gretna and Lockerbie (notorious for being one of the worst parts of the britsh motorway networks to speed on, refer back to 'clueless' statment), in which it's looking like he might get off with due to the manner of which his speed was recoded. They do seem to be using a lot of intimiodation tactics with him so far.
But once again, back to the point, whats the general concensus? Does he have a leg to stand on with this statement, I feel asthough him going allong will be seen as admitance of the accident being a 'collision' and will re-open the incident as a case for investiagion under their new stance thus opening it upto numerous charges which weren't put on it during the traffic collision officers investigation of the scene. Is refusing to give the statemnt as it's a closed issue and option?
I hope as ph'ers you're all ever sp slightly understanding of the young lad.

No but my girlfriends mum has lived in the same small town for ever
When she was about 15 the fairground came to town for two weeks in the summer
A guy from the fairground managed to knock up a whole bunch of teens and of course was long gone before they all knew about it. All the babies came at the same time so there are a load of people still knocking about from this visit fourty or so years ago
Wonder how many more he has

starter motor problems - seems to work fine from cold and sometime s fine wen hot -but quite regularly doesn't (no clicking sound at all ) as i have had to bump start the car 4 times since friday ( which was 2 days ago )- you can't always park on hill so its proving to be quite a tiresome ritual.
i do remember once that the starters can get a problem on one part of them wen they get hot ..?
but also remember that - once there was an issue with the immobiliser not releasing for some reason after one stops briefly ...?
