Any legal bods on here know if there is a mechanism in place to assist when an executer (and beneficiary) of a will is failing to behave themselves?

Well I am off to work. I believe we (parents) have been called in tomorrow which I need to confirm today. Can I also add that there is at least another boy involved (whose phone it is).

Thanks for all the replies. Although not a A* performer either me or DS we do tow the reasonably average line quite well.

obviously gets all this from his mother.

I've been the executor of three wills, and the lack of supervision astounds and appals me. I could have stolen umpteen thousands of pounds I found which no one had any idea existed. When dealing with the affairs of, as in one case, a spinster of 83 who died suddenly, wasa case in point. Finding National Savings certificates 30 yrs old, building society accounts from one bit of paper but no savings book, so many things. But as an executor you are above suspicion it seems. I suggest you request from the executor a formal statement of affairs with supporting evidence. If no success, I think you'll have to turn to legal advice.

And, a propose the thread, it's executor.

Oh bugger! Using an apple so can't find out how to out the grave on the "a"! Yes, should be a propos. Control 0224 usually sorts out the accent but not on apple.
