[quote=(steven)] Part of me thinks a half cage is going to strengthen the bit of the car I'm not in, essentially turning the other half of the cabin into a crumble zone.

A question for this thread, why does whatever spellcheck is built in to Chrome underline 'amongst' as if it's not a real word?

It seems to be deprecated in the rebellious former colonies. Are you, perhaps, using one of their dictionaries by mistake ?

That must be it. What's wrong with those people? Making up terrible new words and trying to wipe out perfectly fine ones.

How times have changed or areas. In Bristol mine is 1 x slopped + 9 leveled kerb stones as we meet the neighbours drive so no need for a 2nd slopped one this cost £650 for the slope and kerbing and the councils bit.

The drive however cost 3k, we did get them to do it in the winter. So was cheaper
sloppy work ?

No spelling error there that I can see. For example, the word basically is spelt correctly, the word car is spelt correctly, the word brought is spelt correctly, etc.

Granted there is an error in usage in the example quoted, but I don't see a spelling error.

How exactly does one "though" then ?

To many people seam too think that they don't halve two worry about weather or not they of used the correct word. Even if its spelt write it can still be spelt wrong for the context. It brakes my hart sum times.

(Perhaps you should look at the earliest posts in the thread to understand the point of the thread itself)

Lowish speed poodle? Did make me smile, though.
