Try caining the brakes hard repeatidly from high speed, I've had success in the past removing slight deposits doing this and so curing light brake vibration.
Also deserving of a mention.j4ck100 said:
I'd love to replace the disks and pads in one foul swoop but I don't intend on keeping it for too long after this trip as it fairly financially ruining coming from a diesel, and the thick end of £500 to sort just doesn't sound appealing.

I'm liking this, its like old TG. Its a good car program. I'm a petrolhead i like watching well shot car documentaries
Great cars, great cinematography, doesn't take itself seriously, has some great pieces and some not great pieces, but even the poorer ones still have the odd bits of laugh out aloud moments, or that great slowmo shot or background.
When Clarkson and co rebooted the old top gear all them years ago they had the benifit that the program had a small following, they could bring in relativly unknow presetnters untill they got the format right.
They had time to develope it.
People are so impatient these days, they want instant success.
I think its only CHM that could off done a full re boot of the program and even then would of been slated before it aired.
The complete change of presenters I think they have to keep that familure feel to it for the current worldwide audience and see where it goes. If they learn and improve we are on to a winner, but even as it is I'll still watch
This series is 2 shows in and if i'm not mistaken both were filmed before the 1st aired.
So they haven't had chance to analyse and change if they feel it needs it.
This is what i don't get, if it fails then that'll be it in my opinion. BBC won't risk a big budget again in my opinion.
If you can't stand CE that much- don't watch it.
If you don't think its working, makes sence to give it more than 2 episodes. Even though i think they've lost the some really talented programe makers, they still have some great ones there.

There's noone coming up the outside but they start trying to outdo each other until they're both in lane 2 of the slip.

Traffic backed up on the right, so no chance of pulling into that lane and cued up traffic in front. Yet, I am expected to somehow perform a miracle and allow this precious eyebrow plucking, fake tanned idiot pass.

Back in the day if you heard something was turbocharged, you think it was a high performance drivers car for the most part.
911 Turbo, TVR Turbo, Espite Turbo, RS Costworth Turbo, etc etc.
So when someone says they have a turbocharged car today, what is your first thought? Has it changed?

We are looking at buying a house. It currently has no drive on the front. House down the street have had the curb dropped and removed the front wall and had drives put in.
Apparently the owner and neighbor have applied to have the curb dropped but it has been rejected.
There is a pavement then a grass verge, then the curb. Many houses down the road park their cars on the grass verge off the road.
As this is already done what do you think the implication of removing the front wall would be?
I am thinking of using permeable blocks and keeping some of the front garden but this would allow me to park my motorbikes on the front to work on them and store them. Still parking the vehicle on the verge as per the other houses in the village.
