Plenty guides on yewtube, but if i understand you right...

If you have rear deraillier un smallest cog, and click, it doesn't shift.

If so, find barren adjuster on rear mech / inline on shifter cable. Undo 1/2 a turn. Does it shift? If not, repeat another 1\2 turn.

Once it shifts, go all the way up, and down again. If down doesn't work, tighten barrel 1/4 turn.

If it's ereatic / goes 1 way and not 'tother, you need a new gear cable.
Ereatic spelling all round.

I'm not wanting to make false declarations. If there was an option to state my position on the form I would!

Thank you for the replies.

Baring in mind what has been said amd Research suggests that I should just apply for a replacement.

I gather due to this being in France it holds no baring on our UK licence scheme, just concerned as I like to stay on the right side of the law!

It seems I was very lucky as the fine could have been up to 750 euros. Seemed I had a nice policeman!

Is this a regular occuarance? In all my years I have never had issues with the French Granada

I am aware that I can ask for more, indeed I do. The issue is that it interupts my eating (and enjoying) of that dish as I have to break halfway through to get the attention of waiting staff then wait untill they return with more biscuits. This is all an interuption that goes someway to spoil the experiance as it is all unnecessary.

Ok then who had purchased a carbon filter lately ? cooker hood or other ?
Most of us are being ripped off here yes

I brought a cooker filter was quite dear as you expect quality from a reputable seller who sells on flebay rolleyes anyway when I looked at the filter held it to the light I could see what ever was behind it ( right through it ) eek with the exceptions of a few scattered pieces of carbon !! on to the seller ( the carbon filter works efficiently and does the job and they are all tested ) as we have a carbon filter manufacture next door tongue out I gave it to him he laughed and threw it in the bin said you have been had mate mad he said the carbon should be packed tightly in the filter housing/cage to work efficiently as it should like your car air filter , he said you may as well run your car without a filter .....

THE STORY IS WATCH OUT YOUR BEING HAD !!

I have had one made for me now that is a proper carbon filter smile
