Ok so back in the days of Running a cooperate car valeting company (Car valeting for office complexes) I was working at one of my biggest clients, IQ park in Farnborough.
This place is huge, and the main focal point is a fountain area directly outside the main reception with Cafes and about 3 office blocks overlooking the square.
Im in full company logo attire, and walking back to the main reception to drop of some keys (a brand new SL65 AMG from memory)
Its a nice sunny day, so lots of people about too.
Rather than walk around the fountain, I think ill take one of those "fake runs" you do when your crossing the road and hop the fountain.
Its obvious what happens next, I didn't end up fully submerged, but fell to seating position in the fountain.
I Obviously jumped up as if I meant to do that, nice sunny day, I was just cooling off.
The squelch of boots and the huge trail of water behind wherever I walked told another storey (you know that grey stone that shows up the water by going dark, yep that, everywhere).
I think I pulled it off....

???WTF???!!!!!

Hi. You have 6 months statuary rights from the dealer. He has to fix the problem, don't let him fob you off with warranty claims. He fixes or refunds.

I recently brought a car from an independent dealer which 4 weeks later developed a fault (leaking front radiator due to corrosion) which left the car undriveable unless topped up with coolant before each journey.

.....due to time constraints and geographic location I haven't got it looked at by the dealer I brought it from

Yet 'licence' is spent correctly!

wouldn't you be better off with a new fornt door, or refurbishing the original one with draft seals?
It would stop the draft via the door, but not stop the other issues as the porch would still be open.

WTF?

Who in their right mind walks up to that and say too theirselves nothing wrong with the van off we go.

You and me are very different people,if you think it looks ok.
Even scrape dealers would be ashamed to be seen in that.

Hi I recently changed my front discs and pads, since doing this I have a moan and sqealing mostly from the front right side would the problem be the cheap pads or the disc's. I bought eicher from Euro car parts, I have since read they are not great but I find breaking fine I just get a sqealing noise epecially after there has been a bit of rust form on the disc.
So again in short is the problem more likely to be the disc or the pads I may need to change.

Many thanks.

So TC try and undo damage by giving half the damages to charity. All sounds too little too late, and half the money only (I understand that's all they got, but still it sounds mean)

They're in a really bad place now, and all self imposed. If they'd just done the right thing to start with they may have come out of it with some reputation intact. Suppose it looked good to the lawyers, but this will be far outweighed by their repetitional damage now.

Hi All
The backfiring started 2 years ago that is why I have done all the work to stop the thing from doing this. if you accelerate to 70 then slow down and feather the accelerator at 60 it will start popping or backfiring or if you go on a journey and try to stay at 60 it will backfire. I have spent thousands of pounds to stop this it just started to do this. Had it to garages with special equipment (rolling roads) and they have heard this but all the suggestions have failed. this is one reason I am on this site. I am going to overall the injectors and put on a crankshaft sender. The only other thing I can do is to overall the turbo. Just one last thing I have had the manifold and turbo smoke tested and that was fine

Yes I know I need a new car but my car is like a pet that is ill but I will not have it put down.
