Ah, thanks. I know next to nothing about 4x4s (bizarrely I was recently hounded on a thread for not knowing what an Evoque was - people accused me of lieing because apparently "everyone's heard of them"!).

Not really spelling but a generally poor grasp of the language:

So what do you expect your councillors to do? Our council are now discussing holding planning meetings weekly to meet the demand. How much time do you think us UNPAID councillors should give up?

So my question is, would there be any issue sticking the tray down with silicon? Cheap stuff is around same price as gripfill and i don't believe the floor has any real dips, so i think i could get the thickness to only a couple mm.
Thoughts?

Hi all,

Would you invest in a FTSE 100 tracker now? When I look at UK parameters, everything seems to be in the green zone (growth, unemployement rate, etc), but I am a bit more worried by exogeneous factors (e.g. Chinese krach, low oïl prices, weak EU zone, etc.)

A semi retired friend does some casual / freelance driving for a few businesses but unknown to him a van belonging to a small business he was driving was invalid, lapsed or not renewed. He was stopped at a roadside check, the van was ceased and my friend is being summoned to appear at court. We think it's likely he'll receive 6 points and because of this wont be able to drive vans for other businesses or hire a van and do his own driving jobs.

He's driven for this business for the last 8 years or so with no problem so there was no need to think the insurance would be invalid etc. Any advice or people heard of similar situations?
I have no idea why anyone would be driving a business.

I am not the greatest fan of Loons online persona(im sure he is a lovely cuddly kind of guy in real life) as our posting styles are both aggressive and acerbic. But talking as a professional driver if that is your job you will have come across this situation (drivers being covered if they honestly believe etc.)and if you don't acquaint yourself with the rules that effect your livelihood then at best you are an armature at worse a bloody liability.

So im siding with Loon and calling custard
