hi we have a cooker with a touch screen panel on it, so like an iphone the screen is flat and you touch it to get it to switch on and off.

problem is that it's getting more and more difficult to switch on and off, I have tried glueing the controls behind it once before, but it must be lose again.

does anyone know of a glue that would be heat resistant so that I could glue it in place once and for all (or even a few years?) or a tape.

i could drill and screw it, but that would mess up the front.

any suggestions please?

My wife sold an unwanted pair of real ladies Gucci sunglasses on the bay of E for about 25 quid. Packeged up and sent as she has done with over 300 items now with 100% feedback. Email back from buyer stating they are not what was advertised,(damaged and not as the pictures etc etc) case logged with the bay of E and she gets the buyer to send back the glasses.

Low and behold a bag of absolute st turns up, different box, different glasses and fake as well, broken and worthless.

Ebay finds for them. Little to no chance of regress.

fk Ebay.

Last item ever being sold on that nest of vipers.

All i can say is that a few years ago i decided to save a little time and money getting some of our cars MOT'd locally. Sort of placy you would let MOT your car or change something minor on your Golf (other makes are serviced there).

It came back with the most annoying wine in the heating system and when I mentioned this to them was told that could have a look at it if i wanted and that they suspected it was X part and would likely be about £Y00ish to fix.

Cut a long story short but my BS detector was going off the scale. Normal garage was able to remove the piece of paper that had been lodged in the system for about £20 worth of labour. Imagine how surprise both they and i were that the paper happened to have the logo of the first garage on it...

With BT I have a max line speed of 1.8mb - this service is inconsistent and repeatedly goes down during the winter.

Even Youtubes videos are too much for it to handle.

Now BT claim I am as far away from the exchange with copper telephone lines as one can get, and yet I live 2miles from a bustling town center.

Frustratingly, fibre optics (Virgin?) run the length of a footpath 300 meters from my house but they never provided them to our streets.

I have signed up for various lists requesting that BT / Virgin supply our street, but nothing ever happens.

How else can I get them to improve matters ?

Thanks

Take it as a complement. Rovinghawk, you should read Derek's book, genuinely entertaining.
