My son has moved house and doesn't intend to install a TV aerial (not one fitted in the house), as he mainly uses his TV for gaming and net flix.

He is worried if he watches the odd programme on his I-pad (BBC) he may get caught out if he doesn't have a TV license.

Question is, how would they know? I have never in my life ever seen a TV deter tor van let alone an I-pad detector van
