Why are films always on so late? Rust and bone is on at 23:10 on Tuesday. Brilliant film but who will watch then?!?

If the speedometer on a car is 10% out as we know they can be. Does this mean that the odometer will be out also?

i.e can a cars odometer read 100,000 miles but only of really done 90,000 miles?

Why has evolution made us so diiferent from each other? i.e. Why do we have tall people and short people; good looking people andn ugly people? Is it mother nature just trying out different things?

Mother Nature tries things out randomly. You also need 'selection'. Clearly there aren't enough grudge bearing wee folk killing the lanky ones, or vice versa, to give a selection advantage.

Not necessarily. They can share the drive without sharing the rest of the mechanism.

HAVE

Yes - but probably not as wildly inaccurate as that.

Why don't pilots or cabin crew suffer from jet lag...or do they?

does it matter it's only a vague comparative guide to how much use it's had anyway

20k at 5000revs in 1st and 2nd gear would wear it out more than 100k up and down the motorway at 60mph in 5th

Oh yes they do. I once went out with a BA cabin crew girl who would regularly fall asleep in the pub, restaurant, anywhere.

On second thoughts, maybe I'm just really, really boring.

Get Tesco to put all the food on the top shelf and people will get taller / have longer arms.

I have ferodo ds2500, a track biased brake pad.

They used to grumble a bit when cold which was good and had excellent bite when hot.

I took the car out for a thrash and properly cooked the brakes.

For a while the car wouldn't stop properly.

Now it stops fine again but the bite is right from cold and they're not grumbly at all.

confused

Did i actually put them through a proper heat cycle and thats how they were supposed to work all along?

yes Sounds like it... they were probably "glazed", did you bed them in properly when they were first fitted?

I've always wondered this when buying limited mileage insurance policies...

It matters a bit more then! (If you're tight like me....)

Yes. In men it's the Piers & for women, the full Morgan.

Otherwise, the intergluteal cleft.
