2. If I'm worried that my house will be broken into by, for example, an ex-tenant with keys, how could I secure the doors?

Thanks!

I'd accept, but I don't think I could afford you.

I accept (as long as your security services don't involve a Mrs Poledriver to 'test' the security further). smile

Do all these Olympic sportspeople get paid for their product endorsements or is it part of their contract with the Olympic committee?
They get paid, its how they manage to train full time.

Why couldn't I disable the call forwarding on my work phone at 3AM but I could at 8AM?

What would get up a muddy slippery hill best - a light 4x4 (say Jeep) or a heavy 4x4 (say Defender)?

Exactly same wheels etc, depends how light and how heavy and how muddy.

Standing start on the steepest bit of the slope?

Water runs off slopes meaning the mud can't be very deep on a hillside.

As soon as the tyres spun up they would throw any covering of slippery mud and then it would be how much weight is pushing the tyres into the solid stuff, because the grip is not friction but mechanical resistance.

?

I'm free!
I have somewhere to go (with secure locks) where 'ex-tenants' cannot follow.

(Sorry, I'm quite happy about this).

Watching 'Americas Hardest Prisons' here in Oz on TV last night there seemed to be a lot of raping going on and that was a mens prison. Is rape as common in female prisons?

Also, what does a lesbian constitute as sex?

Seriously. It's like watching two pensioners flirting in an old people's home.

Stop it!

Same wheels, same tyres, same power, same slope (say 30-40 degrees), same 4x4 systems, same muddiness, same differentials, just one car is light (jeep = 1400 kg) and one is heavy (defender = 3000 kg).

Still too many variables in the consistency of the mud. Different levels of muddy would suit different weights.

A super light 4x4 would go quicker but handle like a hovercraft.

I think about 750kg's to 1750kgs would be the tipping point of a slower vehicle. Not heavy enough to get through to the good stuff underneath and not light enough to skip across the mud.

So the 3 tonne car would grip better i imagine.
