It's an age old question but still I have no answer...Why can't women throw stones?
They can, they just don't practice it growing up as their gender role development doesn't require it.
My mother seems to cope - then again, she's regularly in a glass house...

I think the serious answer has to be something to do with ancient parts of the brain that (most) women don't have in the same way blokes do.

Just as a woman can walk into a room and straight away intuit make wild suppositions if any of the people in there are upset with each other. I simply can't be arsed to do that.

I don't think to try give a damn, which may be part of the problem is the reason.

Just discovered on Ebay there's a new 'Click & Collect' option now where you can collect your item from places such as Argos, Euro Car Parts, GSF etc. No cost to the buyer, no extra cost to the seller. So as Argos, ECP, GSF etc are not charities, what do they get out of this as I can't see them providing this service free of charge, yet that's exactly what it appears. I can't see Ebay bunging them anything as they would be passing that cost onto the seller, which they're not doing. confused
eBay get a new delivery channel and so a chance to grow their sales. Argos get increased footfall in their stores. eBay covered the development and integration costs so Argos got it for free. Initially it was a trial of 50 stores which has expanded from there.

Only some - they cannot be produced by/in the body.

It's because they contain the essence of something. They're not essential in the sense that the body needs them.

Apologies - I was thinking of "Essential fatty acids" as in food. Not aromatherapy.

Because legs dry faster than trousers when it has rained.

I took off from London City the other day. I noticed that the shadow of the plane on the low cloud had a circular rainbow halo.

What causes this?

(sorry didn't think to take the photo when we were lower and the shadow of the plane was visible)

Also, I wondered why they put attachment points on wings (yellow thing):

Surely they rarely, if ever, get used. What's it for?

Possibly health and safety at work, if someone needs to make a repair to the wing they could clip themselves to that in case they fall off?

Unless I've missed the point completely in which case that is a question I would like an answer to

Denny himself seems to think not, but whatever the truth of it (which probably varies depending on the points of view of the parties concerned) they seem to have got past it now.

They are towing attachment points. Sometime aircraft need to tow stuff - gliders, targets, advertising banners, additional fuel tankage, etc. They are very rarely used these days for obvious reasons.

Not forgetting other planes that have engine failure and get stuck up in the sky.
