The real ray of sunshine is that when the Reaper has caught up with you, all your worries are gone Speaking of which, can he come and remove these bloody tonsils/glands out of my neck? /ray of sunshine. You're a right bundle of joy today! Davenotdave, ignore him, he's just unhappy he's walking like the nappy king on a full load. Anyway, how are we all (other than grumpy/stressed/overworked/underworked/limping/dieting/form-filling... Or has that covered all the bases?) Me, i'm a happy raw of sunshine. I just repaired my garden fence and got to use a large sledghammer. 'Rusty bob' I call him. It's been a while. I might have smoked a cigarette or two afterwards just to show my appreciating of his impressive girth and power. Happy daze, happy daze, the sun is shining and we should be making hay...

Like £30 a week left to eat with crippling Sadly both "I drive trucks and groom posh boys" and "But it's got a Ferrari engine in it.. hey, wait, come baaaaaack!" are correct. Things we would love but can't afford right now are facts of life and you either sacrifice some more of your time to pay for them or you accept it and move on.

Sometimes we quietly need to say it to ourselves just to remind us not to feel hard done by. It's life, that's the way it is.

In this case it's the pervert who's right not the pseudo posh f k. My salary would cope. Hers, would not. But being that she is out the house 11 hours a day as it is, and bar work locally is somewhat NIL due to the abundance if skint 18-21 year olds, it appears that I'm stuck living with my parents for a few more years. Joy. Go on posh f k, and pervy slate and make jokes at will

Joy. Go on posh f k, and pervy slate and make jokes at will The Glorious JAYB's suggestion might not have been feasible but it was still valid if you think about it in terms of "can I feasibly earn more to pay for it?" If the answer is no then you just have to shrug your shoulders and move on. There is nothing saying you are stuck with your parents for a "few more years" - that's a long time and one or both of you might increase your earning capacity in that time sufficiently to purchase/rent a property. Don't fall into the Wuffington-esque trap of assuming that because one thing doesn't work out that you are doomed for eternity/really long time. On the flip side things could be a lot worse for you - you've started a new job/career which seems to be going well so far, you've still got your health AFAIK, and you've got a relationship (which appears to be stabilising) with someone you find attractive, who lets you have naughty Dave-time with them on a regular basis. Look which bottles on your shelf are half full and leave the half empty ones to take care of themselves once in a while.
