I beg to differ!I think the problem is, people name their child without thinking what its going to be like when there in their mid 40's trying to be taken seriously. For example are you really going to take advice of a fat balding 40 something bloke called Beau.
There was a guy who transferred to my (rough & ready) secondary school, he had a yellow greased down mushroom cut. Tried playing the hard man and had a few scraps (or kick ins).
The boys then found out his full name, I wont say his first name but it ended "Tobias Royston John", he was forced to quit shortly after that...

A name isnt a freedom of expression. It is a basic function of every day living. Pretty much every day I have had to spell out my first and last name and it isnt as hilarious as it seems.

ked up name I take a keen interest in knowing the parents names. Without a doubt they are always a Tim and Linda. "Life is hard for me because there were four girls named Linda at school and I felt that I didnt have an identity...waaaahhh me me me"

With the really wierd names I think with some parents its almost tantamount to abusing their own child.
I'm thinking...school! Any defect, out of the ordinary looks, or STUPID name sets you up as Target to bullies for years.
Yet some parents don't even consider the potential harm they could be inflicting on their child.
Anyone on here with an unusual name?
