I post in General Gassing, Food, Drink and Restaurants, Health Matters, Homes, Gardens and DIY, not on "every topic" as you say. My BF gave me an SLK250 so I posted my thoughts on that. I thought this was a fun open minded place to be. Am I wrong? What sort of people are allowed to be on here then? Rich, male, heterosexual, 2.5 kidsdivorced and bitter, white and upper middle class with multi directorships and fleets of sports carscomplaining about how £60 000 sports cars should be sold for £30 000 less? I didn't realise I had to be a specific gender or race. I have trouble sleeping so I either watch films or go on PH, is that a crime?

I find a lot of posts smart, witty and interesting, sometimes helpful and informative. The posts I find ignorant, monotonous, mean, rude or "segregatory", I just don't reply to and I ignore the poster in other threads.

If people feel strongly about my attention seeking ways, they should just not pay me any attention at all and that will be that. I may well be a hairy man sitting in my mother's basement in a vest, dirty pants and heels, why does that bother anyone? What is it about my posts that is rubbing you up the wrong way? I will not post photos - in your mind, I want to be whatever you need me to be. Honestly I can be exactly whatever it is that floats your boat wink

I won't answer any of your questions because, let's face it, there are no winners when it comes to Internet arguments. However your last couple of sentences just makes me more suspicious. In my mind, you're the PH equivalent of an online dating catfish (Keeping in relevant to the thread!). I'll leave it at that!

Note to PHers, don't answer your phone on speakerphone to a drunken Mr Roper when pretending to be civilised over dinner with a hot female.

He may come out with things that completely ruin that impression hehe
st....What did he say?

Just checked my phone..You called me at 20:49, call lasted 1 min and yes I was holding my chap as I was having a wee.

I put it to you, Mr Baby...Why would it be normal to call someone mid way through a romantic evening meal with a 'hot female'? C'mon...admit it, she's boring, right?

Look here you loon - I returned your call. You displayed uncouth interest in discussing your penis with me and my dinner date biggrin

Your wife's friends should join PH. It seems several single guys on here. In fact a mid 30's woman sounds good to me. Now there's a suggestion for Garlick - PH dating site. My idea so I get first pick. wink

Plenty of PH dating goes on anyway, don't you have access to the secret forum? MC moderates it, you should PM her.

laugh this is not an argument. And if it was, I doubt you would win. I am sorry if I grate on your nerves, but I love PH and will continue to post on topics of interest. You could, avoid my topics/posts or accept me, up to you. I plan to go to some PH meets at some point. See you there.

Not that I have any desire to get involved in any of this drivle, but just to point two things out that you can maybe try and see from someone's point of view who has been here a wee while longer, QB.

1. Can you not see how that would grate someone?

2. Strange thing for someone to say after just two months.

Don't suppose any are Canadian? - they're great. If not big bangers gets first dibs...

Went out the other night for crazy golf and then dinner with a lass. She seemed put out that I only went halves on dinner.

Well, I had paid for the crazy golf. Who does she think she is, Princess Di?
