If you're just after a fk then the direct approach sema fair enough hehe

If you want something other than an easy shag you may want to try something a bit different wink

Haha, im not after anything serious at the moment, but even the girlfriend potentials, get a similar message, its a far better opener than hi etc, guaranteed a reply!

Like i said, heavy weekend haha, was still pissed when wrote the first message and copied and pasted it! Released after i had sent like 10 messages.

This was just an experiment, was down the pub with a mate, he was on about how he never gets replies on POF, I bet him a 10er I would get more replies saying something as stupid as that, as he would saying " hey, have you had a good weekend?" Guess who won the bet

It's a bit risky though, isn't there warnings that you'll be kicked off if you send messages like that?

Spoken like a true pro.

That's not a bad approach, might give it a go myself for the laugh.

Doubtful, there hardly going to report it, a few responded negatively, to which i replied, look it was just an opener it made you reply didn't it, you wouldn't of replied if i just said hi, to which they agreed, and i carried on talking to them normally. You gotta remember, even the ugly girls will be getting like 50 messages a day, you gotta stand out! haha

That's true. Having said that, Matt's obviously shopping for a younger model with less inhibitions whereas my aim would be late thirties plus, less likely to take a chance about being thrown over a bonnet... hehe

Or I'm just making up excuses not to take a chance.

None of those girls look like plain, sturdy, types, and I bet your bonnet isn't that of a series Land Rover.

You're not going to get anywhere if you can't POF like old money landed types.

A mate of mine got hold of my phone and sent similar messages to ten who had matched but had not replied to my hi.

9 said nothing but one entered into the spirit of it for a bit anyway.

Fair play, Matt. Just before I dive in with both feet, so to speak, was this girls who had approached you to start with by saying "Hi" or ones you had approached yourself? And was it literally your first message to them?

If I can pluck up the courage, I'm doing this.

Had never spoken to them before, it was literally the first message I sent to them, I usually send them to girls just outside of my home town, just in case they get really offended, and I bump into them down town or something, this has happened before! Haha

Fair play, I'm practising this approach on my ex at the moment via text.

Live near Bristol so I should be okay not to bump into them haha.

And has it worked?
The intention was clearly to get a quick shag. It won't have worked. The guy doesn't come across very well in my opinion. Not cheeky or funny, just formulaicly crude. The sort of thing you'd say to the last fat woman in a club when the lights go on. I suppose if you are just playing a numbers game then it's a tactic but it just reads a bit juvenile. By all means have a laugh, it's a great way to move things forward but there's no subtlety or charm to it, just unpleasant in my opinion.
