... and have started using Tinder. Firstly, I think the standard of women is higher and the whole experience seems to be a lot more relaxed. You tend to get women who would not normally sign up to a dating website (no children, decent jobs etc.) who are not necessarily looking for a relationship, but want to go out with for the night and see what happens.
So what that means is it all boils down to how good your photos and banter are! As long as you are half decent looking and can string a sentence together, that gives you an advantage over most of the men out there!

Tinder is not even regarded as "internet dating"....its just a lifestyle thing.

Not necessarily true, all internet/app based dating has become far more socially accepted, the difference with tinder is that it's so simple to set up and so easy to know who finds you attractive from your pics, if you're not mutually attracted you can't message. The same as other sites it takes all sorts, I think I've done 9 dates now in 2 weeks from Tinder. The majority of them (in the 27-35 bracket) seem to want a quick meeting with drinks, banter and to move on to the next date if they 'spark'. I reckon 5 have been like that, but the list of questions they ask you is like a job interview.Tinder is not even regarded as "internet dating"....its just a lifestyle thing.
Then there are the ones with the dating rules who are just basically doing a meet and greet, then another bracket of want a relationship but have a check list as long as your arm for 'Mr Right' .
Now I'm doing this for entertainment myself, not even to get laid so I'm not fussed what their objectives are, it's an interesting distraction and so bloody easy.
The last category of - wants to exchange some filthy messages and meet up for a drink and fking seesion - is far more prevalent in the under 25 year bracket, but they exist in the older bracket too
I've 4 more dates organised for this week, widening the variety a bit and changing the types of dates, we'll see what happens next.

A couple more beauties from my local POF selection (or more accurately, a WTF selection!!).

Got to be honest, the top one comes up regularly on my searches and I reckon she used to be a bloke but I'm not 100% sure.

That bottom one, send her a message telling her that she's ugly, and it wouldn't be honest to say otherwise.http://www.pof.com/viewprofile.aspx?profile_id=490...

We met this chap at a expat meetup a few weeks ago, No doubt very intelligent but quite frankly very strange.

Have a read through some of his rantings, He sounds insane! (Actually in person too)I generally talk to anyone after a few drinks as does my GF but we couldn't get out of the room quick enough after he started talking about converting the worlds population and his masterplan. He also wonders why he's still single....

Yes, he would appear to be mentally ill. http://spoirier.lautre.net/en/myad.htm

He would appear to be an apologist for that teenage virgin loser that went on a killing spree because he couldn't get laid and daddy had given him a second hand BMW.
I'd have left the building, not just the room.
Disagree - there are 2 sides to tinder, initial attraction leading to swipes where the pics are important, then giving someone something to message you about, some people need a reason to message other than a match and struggle for something to say after the match, give them a simple helping hand

"...HIV Test must be taken before any sexual contact.." So... Wednesday's date was good, seeing her again next Wednesday, Tuesday's wants to meet again too.
The weekend looks (re)productive as well - date this evening, but a meet and greet for an hour or so only. One tomorrow afternoon that's set to be a massive piss up and drinks on Sunday afternoon too.
I'm not sure how long I can keep this up for though. It's getting a bit boring already with one already in for next Friday, another next Saturday and 1 the following week. Not only boring but expensive too.
Tinder is absolutely mental, I don't think I've asked for more than 1 phone number they just want to move to whatsapp after a bit of cheeky chat then straight to drinks... If only this had existed years ago
There are a fair few oozing of desperation on there too.
