Surely you have been, over the past few pages.
But hey.
To anyone in 'more advanced years', who finds themselves suddenly single, I'll say that internet dating is an option, but far from the only one.
It's a bear pit with appalling standards of behaviour to be expected which will gnaw into your faith in humanity if you allow them to. Strong stomach and iron-clad self-esteem required.
I'd honestly forget about dating for at least six months, and focus on getting to know 'you' again. Friends will rally round: a spare man is a useful thing to have around for flipping burgers and serving drinks.
Meanwhile, Adult Education Centres offer a huge range of courses which could get one out of the house at least once a week.
Also check out Meetup.com. I like walking and am a member of a local walking group simply because it's nicer to do this in company. It's dripping in MILF, with almost no competition.

I've done roughly 32 dates (I may have forgotten a couple) in under 2 months. Of those maybe 5 have been vaguely interesting and I'm still in touch with them. f

I would expect 50 is where there is a SERIOUS drop off in the ability to use some of the means people under 50 use.If you are outside london and use tinder at 55......I doubt there will be much action!
