I would expect 50 is where there is a SERIOUS drop off in the ability to use some of the means people under 50 use.

If you are outside london and use tinder at 55......I doubt there will be much action!

If you are under 50, then you are just moaning
I've got a mate staying for 2 weeks who's 52, single, from Aus and in now central London - shall we put him to the tinder test? biggrin
52, single ozzy in London....no problem!

Looked at a VX220 Turbo? A stage 2 or 3 modded VXT is unbelievably quick. I used to own a stage 3.5 VXT and it was quicker than almost anything on the road when fitted with Yokohama A048's.

OT I know...

These have held their value very well, so are likely to be out of the question if an Elise is too expensive. Also ugly as sin.

However a leggy 111R ought to be obtainable for £12k or so and will be cheap to run. I've had mine for 9 1/2 years and it's cost me nothing other than consumables.

Oi, you lot - what are you talking about? Think this is a car site or something...?

We want pathetic but amusing tales of lovelorn drama and loss. Back on topic please.

Yes quite right...and just remember when your coming up to your 50th birthday you will loose all ability to use the internet and one of those mobile phone thingys and you wont get any more "action" so prepare yourself in advance .

Guessing you haven't looked at prices recently wink

Anyway, linking the two topics, said lady I discussed a few weeks ago is still around so I decided to offer my taxi services after she had been on a business trip to Canada (any excuse to drive the thing). Having given her prior warning that her suitcase probably wouldn't fit in the boot, I packed a few soft bags and drove to Heathrow in the Lotus to pick her up. Sure enough, the suitcase didn't fit so she had to decant all her clothes into the soft bags in the middle of the drop-off area and full view of a lot of people so that I could shove them into the boot and then carry the suitcase on her lap and to top it all off, she managed to get sunburnt on the way home hehe Practical cars are over-rated biggrin

Hmmm, not sure that that's been my experience actually.

Collected my things last night, end of the chapter. Little bit sad on the way home, but I tried and know it wasn't because of me.

Onwards and upwards.

Chapter? End of the book! Get a different book - read something else! There's a load of books to be read.
