The brain won't rest today Lay off the gear, Hippy I wish I think i'm only beginning to understand what you've talked about some times about insomnia. Mine is driven by a very large do list of real head messing stuff. I opened up Lily's folder of writing late Monday night... i've almost got to that stage of writing. How to relive four months of your life in minute by minute detail. Writing got a whole lot easier and a whole lot harder. Also letting the saab go in the next couple of weeks

Also letting the saab go in the next couple of weeks You have my genuine sympathy mate, FWIW what I've seen that you've written to date has been excellent, very involving. I've found that it tends to be when you have the most on your mind/to do that insomnia kicks in, every time you come close to dropping off the engine starts spinning again and it's back, wide awake thinking in circles. It's ok for the first couple of days, but I hope you manage to get some shut eye soon mate, after the first couple of days judgement can become very clouded without realising it over the 3-4 day+ period. At least you're not doing what I have done previously, and attempted to drink my way through it, that leads to some really f ked up decision making!!

Nothing worse than being so tired, but your mind won't stop. I woke myself screaming last night, to the point that I've hurt my voice. What an arse.

I'd also like to add that if you've been up for that long (48hrs +) don't drive - it can be very easy to mistake a spinning mind for one that is alert and functioning correctly and you can just as easily find out the hard way that you weren't up to it.

Cheers guys. No, not going anywhere at the moment car wise. I am going to sleep soon enough. My body clock buggered itself up a few weeks ago and now I can't sleep until about 5am. The writing is proving to be very worthwhile though. It's a hell of a task, but it helps one person not feel that they are going crazy and they can stand by and watch and be part of the trauma of terminal illness without dying on the inside themselves, then it will have been worth it. It will be a good legacy for my lass. Onwards always onwards I cannot tell you just how much I am looking forward to that car being finished. The end of the year is going to be something else.

Haha, yes just like on Eurotrash. The voice overs were great though.
