I've had a sore throat for more than a week and I'm bored of it now.

But I don't want to go to the GP just on the basis of what's behaving like an extended cold - it'd feel silly. Last GP visit I made was because my insides wouldn't stop bleeding.

Becca, well think of this one as the GP credit. You see, when he sees your name on the list and groans... and then finds out it's 'just' a sore throat, he'll be delighted to see you smile

What colour should i paint my brake calipers? Considering black or red at the mo.
Henry Ford.
Black was my first choice, might paint the caliper lettering in white if there is any lettering that is.. scratchchin
Black.. Red would just get lost on the red car IMHO. Only other choice would be to go yellow if you are going to get the wheels done black.

I'm still half and half on black to be honest fella.

Graphite/Anthracite i do like however but not sure if it would work on my car.

Assuming we are talking wheels then yes it would IMHO... I make no bones about not liking red cars but I do think graphite/black wheels suit them.

You drive a mahoosive bright red barge.. if you are worried about garish I hate to inform you that ship has sailed!

Other than that I do think it would work. There may be better colours than yellow but you'd need something to stand out against the black and I think that with the car being red adding more won't work.

Barge?!? irked

OH has suggested green hehe

Might have a go with yellow, nice thick white undercoat and put white "saab" stickers on the top smile

After a fair bit of deliberation, doing up my Golf seems my best option for anything remotely sporty, I've spent well over 8 grand in performance mods (in my head). Red Porsche calipers are somewhere down my list, but they're on it:

Well it is a barge... green would look great on a black car, but red.. Yellow might work, or black (obviously). Prefer graphite though.

Luckily VAG stuff has a huge range of mods you can do easily and porsche calipers arent too expensive iirc smile

Could i get away with blue calipers or would that be wrong?

I've only ever seen blue on blue, but I guess it could work.

You can't go green as a) it would clash horribly and b) you aren't driving a vRS Skoda. There are rules you know!

Russ's idea of graphite with black wheels does tempt me even though it is a little dull.

The gunmetal paint i used on the MX5 did finish up really nicely i must admit.

996 calipers are a common mod amongst the S2 lot - also worth a look is the RS6 front brakes as they have serious stopping power which is just the ticket for a lardy VAG. fking expensive in terms of discs and pads though. Sonic on here has them on his S2 and their ability to rearrange your internal organs under heavy braking is something to behold!

Ignore them Gor, they are all jealous as you said. Now, stop speculating and go paint the calipers pink, it'll match your handbag and heels hehe
