They're not a bad car.

My Grandma replaced the SLK200 Kompressor with a 60-plate n-tec 1.2 manual, excellent little thing. Big alloys, full colour postcode sat Nav, Bluetooth phone, climate, audio remote, auto lights/wipers, aux-in, etc, cracking little bugger, shame she revs the nuts off it to pull away and that she caught the flint and brick wall of the carport about 2 days into ownership and scraped all down one side...

I actually looked briefly at a 3dr 160SR in bright red a few years ago...
Maybe it was the fact my manager has the basic S with wheel-trims etc etc, and the spec on your grandma's is very good. A girl i know has a mid range one and she loves it, so maybe I was a bit harsh. I would still not buy one. If I spent what he did on the Micra, I would have got either a Mazda 2, Vauxhall Corsa, Pug 207 and even a FIAT Panda 100hp though! smile

I am surprisingly good at being popular with my colleagues, to the point they give me 'awards' i.e. extra cash for my selfless devotion to the cause.
I fear this may end if they realise I have latent violent fantasies though.

One wonders if it's a scam or he made a mistake.

One has a confession. After over 6 months, probably nearer 9 months tbh of being a "non-smoker" I have......... Fallen off the wagon.

Nailed 2 on the way to work (5miles) and already I'm counting down the minutes until my next.

Nice hog.

Has it got one of those little 'meep' horn things to 'bib' at attractive ladies as you nip down the high street with a Gauloise hanging out the corner of your mouth? A la Francaise?

Jealous (of both).

I'd quite happily pay £1500 for that Audi and be rid of the Saab at the moment...
