I nearly fell asleep on the drive after a phone call I took out there because signal is so patchy in the house. It's so sunny, so warm, so niiice.

Good God, whose hellhole have you parked at?

That looks like some awful 60's estate.

It's not cider unless it's from Somerset.

It's certainly not Cider if it's from Belgium or Ireland and it definitely should not be served on ice.

It's just I always imagined him somewhere, well, how do I put this, less sloping drive and visible neighbours, if you know what I mean.

Afternoon.

Nice new place we've got here.

I'm tired, so will be going to bed soon. What happened to being able to drink for a weekend, then function normally the day after? I'm old irked

It didn't work.

I have been polishing my axe. I have a very nice axe that I use for making kindling. It's now been sharpened within an inch of it's life with a file and some decent wet and dry. This pleases me somewhat; two heavy lumpy things tackled in one day. Now, I just have to think about sorting out my garage, painting the walls and the floor and removing the pile of crap in there. Neighbour has a van, I suspect quite a few trips to the tip are going to be the order of the day.

I am going to line the side of the garage with some old high density foam floor protection sheets. I don't fancy deep scrape marks all over the gel coat. Fecking hell, the car is 185, the garage opening 205. Will be fun...

It's a late 80s 'Executive Development'. The most sought after in the area, apparently. Built on an old trout farm, my house sits on the site of an/the old manor house. We can see neighbors from the front and back looking up the hill, but we're the last house on a cul-de-sac so are only bordered on one side with a large front garden to the left of the camera with a willow and stream etc. It's on the very edge of town, surrounded by common and woodland.

Karak: tried replying the saw we'd been volumised.

Alas: I get your point loud & clear, and fully concur.

Rental is a no go as its dearer than buying around here.

Her income is fixed at £nexttofkall until she can get the teaching qualification finished.

This meaning that it'd fall to I to bust some bks and source extra income... In turn this becomes either:

A) the motivation I need to really get stuck into my "career" and earn more

Or

B) a ball & chain of pressure around my neck causing me to resent the fact that I'm paying more into this affair by a factor of 200% than her. Thus tearing our relationship apart

"Charming".. I think that's similar to how posh people use the word "Quaint" when they actually mean "sthole"
