1800cc powered late model, xr2is seem unloved. Why? Because oxidisation and no grip.

Fair enough.
Was browsing the bay, and there's dub 80k mile, 2 owner examples that don't need anything more than "the filler cap repair" (Rot ahoy) for sub £800.
Lot of fun for the money IMHO.
I adored the handling of my mk3

Ugh.. someone at work has tried to cover up the smell of their turd with bad air freshener - it didnt work. The end result has all the sickly sweetness of the freshener and the overall odour of the s t. Not a good combination

Council Baby said: No, it's standard. The truth is, and don't share this elsewhere please, that there's no money in washing machines. SO... About 10 years ago, as Chinese manufacturers started devaluing their products, Hoover, zanussi, candy, indesit etc formed a secret alliance. They bought all of the sock making factories south of the tropic of Capricorn and signed a treaty. The result of this is that 99.4% of washing machines are now hybrid. They use less electricity, which keeps the tree huggers happy, and are 42.4% powered by socks.
As a result profits at the sock companies are what funds the cleanliness of western civilisation.
That, sir, is fact.
How was your date? Well thank you for clearing that up. I take comfort in the knowledge that I am not alone and that my contribution to the world sock economy keeps the world turning. My date was great fun. Charming lass and I seem to have met someone as daft as me. All very unexpected and all rather charming. She doesn't know what a v8 is. Sheltered life, needs teaching.

Good point, but i was thinking more about coats that straighten the hump out, and specialist shoes to give their webbed feet room to breathe. Oh, almost forgot, the coat has a special pocket for their banjo's

If I wrote how I speak on forums, I'd have a '?' at the end of everything I wrote as I have an annoying Geordie/psuedo Australian inflection when I talk so I sound like I'm asking a question...?
