OP, short hair looks so much better on 99% of men. And anyway, forgetting looks, it is so much easier. You can wake up and leave the house without having to style it like a woman every day

Thanks to the sensible replies, I will look into he volumising moose and that wax stuff. As for layers, how do they work? I presume it is something a hairdresser needs to do?
Yes, my tastes in fashion and hairstyle might seem a bit odd, but thats my style - and you dont see my taking the piss out of people with short hair......

All hair needs is a wash every so often, it's self cleaning.
Alternatively, buy a helmet, and put it on, take it off repeatedly.
It has the same sort of effect.

Men with long hair should do the following:
Wash it when it's dirty.
Keep it tied back unless at a gig/on the pull in a rock pub or club
Not ask questions about hair styling on PH or they will have the piss royally ripped out of them.
I've had long hair since I was 15 (now 37) and I've found the above rules will always see you right.
Do you some sort of depraved need to have the piss taken out of you which you find can only be filled by the PH collective? I only ask as you seem to have a masochistic 'I need to be mocked' streak... this thread will not go well for you. Again.
Oh, and have you ditched the dodgy white jeans yet?
