It was cheap.

Or what I'm going to do with it.

The reason that I wouldnt ever buy one, not even the Subaru dressed up like a VW Type 2...

Did you see the episode of Fifth Gear a few years ago where fat Tom crashed one on an oval track, at a modest speed, and broke his leg?

That made me shudder.

Its a computer.
Educational toy basically, but quiet powerful for what it is. We were talking about it at work today then noticed they were on special. I'll probably use it to run xbmc or similar.

Without clicking on that I completely agree - it wasnt bad for us (worse for Tom I dare say!). Afterwards though... What I should have probably said, was that thinking about driving one now makes me shudder, after seeing how both you and the van crumple in harmony.

Spot on. He's either cute as could be it a complete bd. There's very little in between. Hence the informal name:

Well the GoPro HD3 has just been announced/released....

Do I really need the £400 black edition that shoots in 4000p and 2700p resolution?

The video they have released for it has made me want one! Same happened with the HD 2.

Yes... Yes I do... wonder if all the same housing fits it or if its a complete upgrade.

The housing is different, but the mounts are the same.
The BacPacs (Battery and video) are backward compatible.
Its not £400, its $400......

Nice. I could do with one.

Or, I can get by perfectly well without one. But if I had one, I could make even more stuff that I probably don't really need.
Entirely my philosophy sir, hence that Colchester joins my Boxford lathe, two milling machines, three MIG welding sets, one TIG set, plasma cutter, sandblaster, bandsaw, parts washer, two compressors and more air- and power-tools than is sensible biggrin
