Funnily enough I have just ordered an OrbitKey but have mortice lock keys and this was something that worried me. I had planned to use washers either side of them to make them work as I suspect that it wouldn't work without it.

Reminds me of the time my son 'needed' the Lego Death Star.

Does this count? I have no need of a second car, nor can i afford one particularly, but it was stupidly cheap hehe

I wanted a switch I could use in my house to turn lights on when I am not home. Then I found this, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-Automation-Switch-A...

From the app I can turn lights on and off, schedule them, all over IP, from anywhere in the world.

The novelty of flicking the table lights on and off as I approach the house and waiting for my girlfriend to come to the window looking unimpressed hasn't worn off yet.

After seeing one somewhere on one of these pages I've picked up a Leatherman Style PS. Not really needed as very occasionally I required a flat head screwdriver when removing/attaching the tripod head to the tripod. This seemed like a no-brainer to shove in the camera bag... biggrin

It's tiny! Same size as the key fob for the car.

Please take some video of the test and share with us. smile

I want to do similar. My Saab's horn is like a pooftah's fart.
Finally installed and operational

I little disappointed if I'm honest, though I've not tested it from outside of the vehicle yet.

It sounds rather loud but hard to tell from a video... Sounds impressive!

That's not bad at all! Sounds like a train horn going through the tunnel...

Thanks for making the effort. smile

I mean I do have a son, and it was only £15 on eBay, second hand, but he already has quite a bit of it.

In about a year he'll be old enough to play with it, by which time I might have got bored with it. I blame my parents for only letting me play on the on in the Early Learning Centre for a few minutes at a time as a kid.

I've got the Philips hue, was out all day yesterday and treated the guy fitting our oak floor to a rave up with the lights, strobes, flares the lot!

I have a fairly big box of that wooden train set - if your son(!) would like it (my boy is just about growing out of it), drop me a PM...

It's a great learning tool, Rhys has gone from having difficulty laying out an oval, to some pretty complex plans with main loops and sidings and all sorts.

I'm really rather tempted with this:

It'll end up costing me circa £1,200 for the full kit including the GoPro camera...but how cool biggrin
