Bought yet another pair of oakley flak jackets. Its not like I need another pair of sunglasses as I have 5 other pairs. But these were reduced to £79!

Saw a lot of those in Florida:

My almost entirely frivolous purchase of the month:

As the existing one suddenly beeped, and set itself to the lowest temperature possible, before refusing to respond to entreaties and later violence to set itself higher. Pulled the batteries, put new ones in, did the same thing, so off to the hardware store it was.

Frivolous as, despite the marketing, it does nothing a $20 thermostat doesn't do. But it connects to the internet.
Ah Nest....im having a long running trying to get a refund on my Nest Detectors , considering they dont work as they should.

So im owed 218 pounds for two.

Yeah I'd like to know too. Can I get away with them as a female?

Would that be the current problem where (reading between the lines) a fire can mimic the 'wave' to silence them?

I can't replace mine, anyway; my current smoke alarms hook into the security system, so I'd need the upcoming version of Nest protect that will work with security systems.

Just bought this set of Hendrick's scales from EBay for my study!

Oh dear... I'm not going to be popular.
There is only one on ebay... where you getting one from?
I don't understand! Have I missed something?
The bottle is black and heavy so hard to know how much lovely Hendricks you have left, hence the scales! My cousin works for the company that distiputes Hendricks so I got mine for free!

yes

Second pair arrived today and the orange lenses make everything much more mellow.

It must be pointed out that they are cheap and cheerful. But they are also very light, comfy and after sitting on a pair when i got into the car this morning they appear to be much more resilient that i expected.

They are not going to replace my oakleys but they are going to be useful on holiday and will enable me to not give a fk about what i'm doing with my sunnies when i'm having a couple of beers.
