Well I got a free axminster catalogue through this morning. 600+ pages of man joy, its like being 5 again and going through the toy section in an Argos catalogue.

The shopping list is growing weeping

This month's frivolous purchases, started with the small one obviously wink

The technology on these things is ridiculous, the 2 larger ones have gyros that compensate for any wind.

You can buy all 3 for less than £200 and if you break them just glue them back together.

WTF. You can't just post that without a link where you got them from. Rude!

Got my Sun Gods today. I hate you all.
They are the crappiest sunglasses I have ever owned, they are on par with the freebie fake Wayfarers you get thrown at you at clubs.
Really flimsy, brittle plastic, plastic hinges, thin lenses, unrepresentative colours etc. The only reedemable feature is that they are cheap and you can customise them to oblivion.
For balance, I had a look at my brother's pair (of SunGods) at the weekend and that wasn't my impression at all. Decent lenses, memory polymer frames (i.e. the very opposite of brittle) and cheap.

Same here, love mine. Proper polarizing lenses too. Bargain.

I used to drag a mattress to the stairs and position it at the bottom, covering the bottom half of the stairs. The game was to then leap from the top of the stairs and slide down the mattress. If you missed then your spine nearly came out the top of your head. Kids these days are soft.

Ah Sorry! Here you go! Some have the controller included some don't. I bought a Spektrum DX6i which can control all of them.

Oh and don't start with the bi-plane no matter how tempting wink

always wanted one, no real practical reason other than geekiness and i do love a good spreadsheet so i'm sure i'll find a half use for it soon

It also works via bluetooth in a really clever way - it just emulates a bluetooth keyboard so you can pair it with literally anything without the need of additional software. Even your iPhone smile

If you unplug the lead and use it wirelessly and you are not connected to anything it just stores up to 2000 barcodes and then dumps them when its back in range/connected via usb

you can even tell it to do a 'return' or a 'tab' after it scans a number so it will move on to the next cell in excel etc.

Best 50 i've ever spent. i think smile

You need to do a stocktake of everything in the kitchen cupboards.

All the nuts, bolts, washers, nails, screws in your shed... better keep an inventory.

Barcodes on all the shelves.
