I probably don't need this
but I hoping it will be nicer than camping, provide much needed storage as the trailer and stuff out of the garage can go and make race weekends run a little smoother.
I am certain I drove past this, or an identicaly liveried truck on my way home from work yesterday, (M23 southbound)but I hoping it will be nicer than camping, provide much needed storage as the trailer and stuff out of the garage can go and make race weekends run a little smoother.

£30 on a 24 year old T shirt isn't bad (as least thats what I told my husband!) I owned this shirt in my teens, loved it to death and then lost it. Turns out its quite rare and I've been looking for another for a while.
Made me stupidly happy anyway
oh man when I think of all the t-shirts that have fallen apart over the past decade (and they fell apart, nothing to do with me becoming fat and middle-aged oh-no!) the chance of buying gig shirts could ruin me!!Made me stupidly happy anyway

There are 2 shirts on my wish list, that one from the UK Justice Tour and a Def Leppard one called 'The Women of Doom'. Great shirt, cartoon Joe Eliot on the front and on the back is a robotic woman in a classroom pointing to a board that reads:Worship
Our
Masters
Every
Need
Or, 'WOMEN'. Probably not particularly PC of me to wear back then but I loved it and have no idea what happened to it. I have found another, £175. Those are the only two I'm struggling to replace. My other favourites (Megadeth 'Mary Jane', Metallica 'Lady Justice', Leppard 'Hysteria' etc) have been surprisingly easy as they have been reproduced.
My Mother still rolls her eyes when she see's my T Shirts. Back in the day if I had a shirt she didn't like she'd iron the print on purpose

Awesome 3.8 or 4.2?
Maybe a Nissan Skyline engine and box, should set the purists off. Outside should look like my last one, see www.patsetypes.co.ukandyr30 said:
I bought this...
http://pioneerdj.com/english/products/controller/d...
So I could make the 'wikky wikky' scratching noises whilst listening to music
It's quite good at doing other stuff too according to videos, I just don't know how to make it do the other stuff
So this did prove to be completely frivolous and is now for sale!http://pioneerdj.com/english/products/controller/d...

Heatseeker one isn't stupid money, one finished 2 days ago at £23 (well, £30 when you add on the shipping but this is the baseball version as well) Also had the 'Heatseeker' tee - deffo not PC, to the point I'd likely not wear it these days

Not seen the Rush one, but was never much of a Rush fan tbh. I'll keep an eye open for that one though now you've mentioned it. I'll let you know if I see one.
The Leppard shirt was pretty rare even back then, I was a HUGE Lepp fan, even convinced my best mate to drive me to Sheffield because I'd found out where Rick Allen lived (pre internet so my stalking was pretty impressive). Then after Hysteria it all went a bit downhill for me. Same with Metallica after the black album though to give them credit the new stuff is back in a place I like.
I took my eldest (21) to see Extreme the other week, he was easily the youngest in the room He was raised on 80's/90's rock. He is desperate to see Tesla (as am I actually) but chances of a tour in the UK are minimal otherwise VIP tickets would be my next frivolous purchase here hehe

My better half isn't really into the whole rock thing but I'm working on it - her first rock gig was Nickleback

O/T I saw Def Lepard twice in 2011, once in Florida and once at Wembley (with Motley Crue, meh, and Steel Panther, EXCELLENT!) and while I really enjoyed them both my opinion is that Joe Elliot's voice is past it - really seems to struggle in places, but he gives his all; gotta love him for that.

Nickleback!? How could you! Thats spousal abuse that is! My better half isn't really into the whole rock thing but I'm working on it - her first rock gig was Nickleback
Sadly I didn't get to see Leppard until much later, might have been Download 2011 (they all merge into one). I enjoyed them but only because I'd waited so long to see them. I want to see Crue on their final tour as well, I did have the chance to see them at Download but they clashed with Faith No More I think and FNM won hands down. I turned my other half to the dark side. He was very much into U2 and Simple Minds etc when we met but after 20 years I've ground him down hehe
