Outdoors stuff you say... In fear of PH advertising malarky - I'm selling my expedition trailer - how much more outdoors do you want.

I'm doing my Powerboat Level 2 qualification shortly. I'd need a waterproof coat and could borrow a lifejacket, still technical clothing is fun to buy so now I've a rather lovely Henri Lloyd goretex coat.

Next a borrowed lifejacket would be fine but this seemed a good deal:

I'd always rather rely on my own kit when it comes to safety gear.

That is an impressive thing.
Am I the only one who checked out the Bushman website, then looked on Google Maps to see whether it would be feasible to drive one back to the UK?

That would be some road trip.

These are what we use , Deckvest and Deckvest Lite and both are superb.

Everything I use for boating except my boots and gloves are Crewsaver or Yak. Give them all a good coat of Fabsil every year along the seams and they'll take anything you can throw at them. Boots are Lomo (little heard of Scottish supplier, very good stuff). Gloves are whatever is on the shelf at the time - I tend to go through a couple of pairs a year. Always open to recommendations for something grippy, not necessarily insulated, but broad across the knuckles and not liable to tear or split or give blisters in the thumb crease...

Going 'wild camping' this weekend with the boys. Have bought a massive tent already and all the cooking gear, even ropes and sheets for hammocks (with any luck, this weather will hold out) but I realised none of my knives were going to hack it so bought a Gerber smile

Gerber Crucial

Mine just arrived today but it's going straight back to Amazon. The box was scuffed and shop-damaged, the blade has fingerprints on it, there is a human hair lodged in the mechanism, and there are light scratches on it.

I realise that things get returned and put back into stock, but you expect something that you have bought new to look new.

Lovely looking thing otherwise.

Edit: I should add that that seller are being very reasonable. They're asking me to send photos and will investigate further, and will offer a partial refund to keep it or else authorise a return. That's pretty fair I think.

They look like the battery operated tea lights you can buy to me?

Haven't done it yet, but I've put the money away to fly to Poland, buy one of these and drive it home.
