Going for £480 and above.

Its a dock system for your phone.
They do look great. I looked at one before going with the default dock choice of a Zep Air.

I don't know what to make of them... would rather have a few play 1s from Sonos.

I paid £450 in T5 duty free - Comet briefly had them at £399, but seem to have sold out - it seems as though it is being phased out, nowhere seems to stock them.

Looks lovely and sounds lovely, very easy to set up on the wifi - perhaps not as easy as a Sonos and not as flexible, but for sound quality, it blows the Sonos out of the water IMO (especially considering the cost or a playbar...)

Valve preamp and solid state power.

I mainly got it because of the valve and mahoganyness of it and that I am a massive tart for Samsung gear, hence the frivolity. The fact that it sounds awesome and can get silly loud means it is a partially sensible purchase.

Mahogany and valves. Wonderful.
With its own ash tray too, what more could one ask for?

insane, going back to my first IT job i would like to see the look on my face when told in less than 20 years a plug in device no bigger than your thumb nail will hold the equivalent of over 45,000 3.5" floppy disks!
I know. It's mad isn't it. Especially when you consider that it's not even the smallest size / highest density available. You can get a microSD card (the same size as the nail on your little finger) that holds 128GB
I bought a 32GB one of those (the ones smaller than my fingernail). I put away somewhere safe, and now I have no idea where it is.

I also got one, its relatively easy to hover and shimmy side to side, but turning it is difficult and when it gets far away or you are flying it towards yourself and the controls are reversed i panic and usually stuff it into the ground.

The thing is good at crashing though, I have done a few power cut crashes from 25ft+ to concrete and its been fine. This was maybe a good 30ft plus video i took, It was too windy to be flying it really and the wind just took it from me and i couldnt get it back so just cut the power and let it fall.

Can anyone clarify the camera operation, Its press top left button once to start filming, press it once again to stop?
I wish it took you on the controller if it was recording or not, as a few times ive done that annoying thing when recording what you dont want, then stop recording when you mean to start it. The only indicition it gives you is that flashing red led on the camera which is kind of hard to see.

Speaking of valves, I picked up one of these a while ago for next to nothing:

The guy selling it had pulled it out of his Jap import and seemed to be under the impression it didn't work but it turned out to just needed a £10 band expander as it was intended for JDM.

I've never got round to fitting it but it's just too cool to get rid of.
