Your frivolous purchases, stuff you don't need...

lol I was very tempted but Id only ever use the torque driver for taking wheel nuts off. its not like I do that every day.
That's probably all I'll use it for too. Plus, I already have a mains-powered compressor, only it's a small briefcase-sized one with no tank that's only really good enough to inflate tyres with.
Edit: Having said that, it's a right faff to use and the rubber hose is perishing. A compressor with a tank and a 20M hose is something that could live in the garage and not have to move since the hose would be long enough to go to the car. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
A big axe from aldi. As they were cheap and thought it handy to have as I have a lot of trees
Cue actually trying to chop a trunk in half.
Gave it ten mins and got my petrol chainsaw out.
I was waiting for a road rage incident after I bought it. As I had it in the car boot for an afternoon and thought I'm nicely tooled up !
I also looked a nutter in aldi.
My only purchase being an axe. And I was in a suit.
Several people asked me if I was going to murder someone.
I said we will see how the week goes.
Cue actually trying to chop a trunk in half.

I've let you all down, I'm afraid.
I went to my local Lidl and they didn't have the smaller compressor at £89, only the larger one at £149 and I *didn't* buy it.
Nor did I buy an Impact Wrench (or, as Edd China calls it, a "Windy Gun"). Even though I have always wanted one.
I did buy a new tyre inflator attachment for my existing air compressor though because the hose is perished on my current one and also the gauge isn't very accurate. So because I kind of need it, it's ineligible for this thread.
The knife sharpener block was frivolous though.
So, as I said, I let you all down.
