That's OK. I went out today to post a letter and change the battery on a watch. Came back having purchased this:

Good heavens. I may not know much about bicycles but that seems like an ultra low-ratio gear set. Can you cycle up vertical walls on it?
I don't really get fancy bicycles, but that is delicious.

Single ring on the front so you need a serious range on the back.
I've seen specific single cogs to swap out one (or sometimes 3 cogs) on the rear to give an ultra low ratio. And yes, you probably can go up a wall on it. More fun on the way down though.

Bike looks nice, but that looks like a 30t on the front and, from the spec list, a 10-42 on the back giving you a max ratio of 3.0 when using the 30 and the 10. Is that enough? I would normally have something like a max of 44t on the front, down to 11-12 on the back giving nearer 4.0.

Could've been worse, I went out the other day for an isofix base for the new car seat and came back with an ex demo xk-r convertible. Didn't even know they did those in mothercare.

Have you tried the cool new Wireless Charging feature?

That's pretty irresponsible - but potentially very funny once it goes viral...
Something similar happened when IOS 7 was launched;

And yes, people did fall for it...

Bought this a few weeks ago.

Beats Pill XL

Very pleased with it. When you spend most of your life in a hotel (work), something like this is invaluable. However, started to find it just a bit too cumbersome to fit in an over night bag.

So today bought this...

Bose Sound Link Mini.

Sound quality is not quite so good as the XL but not far off it!!

For it's size, very impressed. Way better than the smaller Beats Pill that's available.

Happy.

They are a great piece of kit. I took mine on a work trip a couple of weeks back for music and watching Netflix movies on the iPad. I'm so impressed with it that when not being used as a travel device, it's docked in my bedroom replacing an old midi system.

i have one, great bit of kit for travelling. can't get it to pair up with my work laptop though which is annoying as i travel with a hard disc for movies/games rather than lugging 2 machines.

Although not purchased yet, I'm doing similar at home.

We're having the whole living area/kitchen of our bungalow refurbished, and have ripped the fireplace out to fit some shelved to hold ps4/freesat box. TV to be mounted on the wall.

Worked out that decent wallplates for hdmi etc. were quite dear, so have plumped for an onkyo 2.1 system that means I only need one hdmi up to the telly, the rest go through the sidewall of the fireplace to the sub/amp.

300 quid to save 70 quid on wallplates...
