So what are the good brands if you consider Draper bargain bucket, I always thought Draper to be one of the better brands? I would guess Snap On are still at the top of the food chain?

(ETA, this is not a troll attempt, just a question, I have not bought new tools in years)
WERA are v. nice, Wiha also similar and appropriately expensive. There's probably an obscure Japanese company offering hand forged screwdrivers tailored to fit your individual mits but I don't have a linky to their site...

Purdey paintbrushes...how many does one need?

Oh, all this talk of Oakley has reminded me. I also pushed the boat out and am waiting on a pair of Ray Ban Tech carbon fibre prescription glasses. I could have spent less, but carbon fibre.

nono

see now, you're looking at this the wrong way. just look at how much you saved off the RRP. i mean, it would have been foolish *not* to buy them and i'd suggest they are such a good deal that they are almost no longer frivolous smile

That's a good question. I might have to head up to the roof and play around (I'm working in Manchester City Centre today, so should be plenty of 'targets')

But I mostly got it you know... because lasers. Pew Pew etc.

Over the summer I decided to have a go at Kite Surfing. Quite liked it but I need to get some practice in with a kite before giving it another go.

A quick spell on Amazon, and this rocked up on Thurs:

A 3m HQ Rush IV Pro Amazon Link

Hope for some wind this weekend.

The 128GB will be slower at reading and writing data over the USB2 connection though. Bit of a pain in the arse, when transferring large files.

That's actually a pretty good buy IMO, and i love the matt cf.

I recently go the carbon blades, the ferrari ones with rx fire iridium lenses which are polished carbon but also some blue ice iridium polarised with matt carbon. I much prefer the matt over polished.

Talking of Oakleys, i just received my Romeo 1's back with rx ice iridium polarised lenses as well. It's lovely to be able to wear them finally biggrin

Can you get spares for the Costco micro quadcopter? I just lost my 2nd black rotor. One of them pings off very easily and it pinged off to gods know where. Again.
