Pebble? Brother bought a pebble steel when they first came out, as I predicted it was hardly used and is now gathering dust. Will have to get it on eBay for him.

Predicting a bottom drawer dust collector but hope it's actually useful.

Should I have waited for the Apple watch, time will tell!

Please tell me it's rubbish, I nearly bought either one of those or a Metawatch when I was on holiday in the states in the summer.

Instead I bought another G Shock to add to the collection. Didn't need another...

Why? just why?

Unless you are 8 years old wearing those is about as sad as wearing a Simpsons or other 'novelty' tie.

Have to say, having had a pebble for 18 months or so I'd not bother going back to having a dumb-watch, already thinking about upgrading it to one of the Google ones if it launches. All my texts and e-mails come through to it, plus it'll vibrate when I've got a phonecall coming through, which I can actually feel if I'm walking around a noisy area, as opposed to the phone vibrating away in my pocket and missing the call.

I was tempted to buy an orange one but in the end went for black. How well does it work with iOS? Also if I read a message on the watch does it cancel the unread message on the phone?

Couldn't say with iOS, I'm using Android. The message is still marked as unread on my phone though, I just use it as a screening device on the whole.

I like the converse biggrin My daughter has some amazing Thundercats ones she picked up in the sale and I'm gutted they don't fit me.

Anyway, my frivolity, probably for the year now.....

There aren't many girls who can say their husbands indulge their desires to become a stormtrooper, but bless him mine didn't raise an eyebrow when I bought this. Vacuum formed trooper armour. I shall spend the next few months happily riveting, applying velcro and sourcing the last few bits needed to create the full armour.
I've asked for a blaster for Christmas biggrin

Guy vacuum forming and selling on eBay, price around £250 but factor in you still need to buy the under suit, boots, gloves, neck cover and blaster smile

I bought the complete Twin Peaks box set on blu-Ray. It accompanies my DVD box set of the same show quite nicely.

And a mark 5 golf GTI to accompany my ailing 328.
