I am kind of short for a Stormtrooper. I have a spinal condition and I'm shrinking. I used to be 5ft 7", now I'm 5ft 5" biggrin At some point I will cosplay Yoda hehe

My frivolity now needs to stretch to a dremmel to make my assembly task a little easier, I feel a trip to screwfix coming on...

(not exactly the thread for it but it's close so thought I'd give it a go)

I need a bit of a mood lift. I've got precisely £17.19 in my PayPal account. Ideas for something to amuse or enjoy would be most welcome. Something pointless or totally unnecessary would be good. The random minds on PH always bring a smile. What say you?

You have to be able to find something that fits here

I bought one of these hoodies. Pretty pointless, but pouring water on yourself is quite good fun.

My answer is wrong for the thread too but with old git status now fairly well established I just got a cheapo electric blanket to see how I get on. On shifts I sleep in the spare room and don't want to heat the whole house at all hours. Sliding into a warm bed is a luxury I can't believe I've missed out on for so long. Join us, join us.

There aren't many girls who can say their husbands indulge their desires to become a stormtrooper, but bless him mine didn't raise an eyebrow when I bought this. Vacuum formed trooper armourbiggrin
Did you see him die a little inside when he realised that you wanting to dress up as a Star Wars character didn't involve a gold bikini?

Fancied one of these for a while and it's finally arrived.

I'm going to take it out this week and get some shots of it along with the real size beasts..

I still can't get over the size of the real things. Was staying at a friends up in Stafford-shire a few weeks ago, and drove past one of there depot's a few times and they had one sat at the entrance on display. There's ridiculously big.

We can ban you from posting, but not from reading I'm afraid, so you'd have to carry on buying, you just wouldn't be able to tell us about it..

Would that not increase the frivolity? wink

Popped into Ikea on the way home tonight, and managed to spend £129

Bought a house plant for the dingy corner of my lounge, and unlike all previous attempts this one isn't going to die. Because it's artificial.

Most frivolous purchases were a £7.50 electric scewdriver (it'll probably be crap), and a clock thing that, depending on which edge you stand it on, is a clock, thermometer, countdown timer and alarm clock. For £4.50 I thought it was an irresistible purchase. smile
