Your frivolous purchases, stuff you don't need...

Photos to follow but I've just taken delivery of a kit to build a new guitar. Double neck guitars are cool. Flying V guitars are cool too. So a double neck FV must be very cool indeed. And frivolous as it will only be used once in each set, for playing Hotel California.

Why not go crazy and make a flying W, make it look as if you crammed two flying v's together with different colours on each side!http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gerber-22-41830-EAB-Pocket...
Wanted something better than the crappy one I just broke... found this... but already have a spare stanley knife... Ah well.

I had a similar product that I bought from Costco a few years ago, and very useful it was too. Sadly I have lost it, so I'm tempted by that. Gerber kit is well made. Wanted something better than the crappy one I just broke... found this... but already have a spare stanley knife... Ah well.
Edit: Although I'm rather tempted by this:

My Wingback arrived today .
Its a lot smaller than I thought, but I like it. Found £5 in my wallet when moving cards around which I didn't know I had either.
Just got one myself, going to be a bit of an adjustment being used to coins in my wallets and not my pockets. Its a lot smaller than I thought, but I like it. Found £5 in my wallet when moving cards around which I didn't know I had either.
Got mine as a kit too so had to spend some time sat watching TV sowing it together
Just bought myself an Orbitkey http://www.orbitkey.com/collections/premium-leathe...
Went for a black leather one and it tidies the keys up nicely.

Just bought a robot vacuum from Aldi. It is currently freaking the cats out. But seems to be doing an ok job!
Briefly had two of those. Was literally minutes of fun watching them get confused mapping the flat and getting confused when they keep detecting other things that weren't where they though they should be, (i.e. the other one moving around).Besides, who else do you transport a cat in a shark costume around the floor? All I need now is a compliant cat and a shark costume. Did see a radio controlled inflatable shark a while ago, but can't get the helium over here..
For those who may be interested, it is fairly rubbish on carpets but pretty good on hard floor/lino which is what I have downstairs.

Mine has stood up to 12 months of use very nicely (got it from kickstarter). The only down side for me was that the central pin was too big for my house key and broke it (the key not the orbitkey). I hear they have made the pin a tad thinner now which would be good.Went for a black leather one and it tidies the keys up nicely.

Blimey. One would have assumed that the key would have broken the orbitkey.Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
