My latest toy, pretty happy with it so far, even it has just been used to play silly little games on haha. Will get put into full action when the next semester at uni starts in a couple of weeks.

i5, 8gb ram, 256gb storage spec, would have liked the i7 version but even at student discount rates it wasn't justifiable. Ah well still got my desktop for when i need that extra punch. But as something i can carry around with ease its silly power. Only real issue I've had so far is wifi performance seems to be lacking. But i have a feeling its due to me currently being the complete opposite end of the house to where the wifi access point is whilst my rooms getting decorated, it does seem to improve drastically when connected to other networks or if i move around the house.

Also have a cyan keyboard cover, only complaint with that is the fabric on the cover side seems to pick up any dirt very easily and refuses to come off afterword.

My latest toy,
It'd probably run Civ 5, also Turbo Dismount off steam is a good one that works with touch screens.

Got a similar device in the form of a Yoga2pro

I already have a road bike, but I don't like the (thumb lever) gear shifters.

Very frivolous, seeing as they were on offer last month for £320.

Are you sure? I tried to purchase one in November and December but they were out of stock in my size. I've never seen any price listed other than £500 and HDUK didn't pick up on it...

I'm sure they dropped them to £399 at one point, and then there was 20% off everything on top of that. There was some good bargains to be had, especially when a daily deal was accidentally available with an extra 20% off. At least one pair of carbon clinchers were sold for less than £280 when they should have been nearly twice that. smile

I don't think they ever dropped the price, I imagine the margins are already quite low at £500. I found a few people online saying they managed to order them for £400 with the 20% 'staff' discount code. From memory I don't think my size was in stock at the time as I'd set up an email alert (which was how I ended up buying the one that briefly came into stock today).
