I have already posted part of this before but my purchases were not complete so here goes:

2nd April - iPad 2 was getting a bit slow and fancied an Android tablet so bought a Lenovo Yoga 2 10.1.
3rd April – Ordered a Bluetooth gamepad from Amazon to link to the Lenovo.
5th April - After using an iPad mini, I realised that I preferred it to the Lenovo so got the iPad Mini 3.
11th April – 3 yr old wanted to watch Bob the Builder but can’t find it anywhere on Sky so bought Amazon Prime (the one that includes next day delivery).
12th April – Not happy with the performance of Amazon video on the Xbox One so buy a PS4.
22nd April – See that Apple TV is reduced so thought it might be useful.
22nd April – Amazon video has to be AirPlayed so sign up for Netflix as the app is available already installed.
27th April – Decided to cancel Amazon Prime as Netflix has everything I need (full refund minus 1 month of £6.99).
29th April – As Amazon might be putting up the price of free delivery to orders over £20, realise that Prime might actually be a good idea so buy it again.
29th April – Amazon Fire TV stick has Amazon Video and Netflix available so thought that would be great as I could use both. TV stick bought.
30th April – Return bluetooth gamepad as it hasn’t been used.
01st May – Amazon Fire TV stick is fine but Fire TV box is more powerful and I can link up my old Xbox 360 controller to play games on it – ordered.

So, I now have the iPad2 on eBay, a Lenovo tablet that isn’t really required which is also on eBay, an Apple TV box in the bedroom which I will eventually use once I have finished watching the Not Going Out box set, an Xbox One gathering dust and now too much TV available so I cant decide what to watch.
But, I can at least order more tat from Amazon and only wait 24 hours to have it delivered!!

I just need to return the Fire TV stick once the box arrives, although, maybe I could use it on the bedroom TV? That only has 1 HDMI port though so probably could do with a new TV.

I have a very understanding wife luckily.

oh how our technological lives differ.

I'm thinking of changing the TV/video combi in the dining room to a new TV.

purely because the set top box has gone funny, its stuck on BBC 1 (which is fine) but the speech and picture are out of sync.

Thinking of upsizing to a 22".

But I'm not rushing into it just yet.

I'm going to resist the temptation because I already have a perfectly good 10Ah (10,000 mAh) twin 2.1A outlet one that I seldom use and don't really need a 22Ah one as well.

Tempted though. smile

I've got a 5000 mAh, a 10,000 mAh, a little pocket 3000 mAh and I still got one, 22000 mAh is worth having for that money!

I bought a Microsoft Universal Mobile keyboard, which is a Bluetooth keyboard with UK-layout and a little switch to switch between Windows, Android and iThing modes. At £52 it was significantly more expensive than most Bluetooth keyboards but is the only one I found that is a UK layout.

This is the last ditch attempt to make my HP Stream 7 Win8.1 tablet actually usable.

Can you load CM onto the Stream? The wife has one, and the battery life sucks.

Erm... just bought another racing car...

Well the old one wasn't quite frivolous enough so we've gone for a 220bhp (currently restricted to 170bhp) car instead.

That's andylaurence looking smug with our new purchase

Convoy!!!

Got a few spares as well!

However, my frivolity doesn't extend to buying 1 tub of the grease recommended for this car...
