Went to look for a cheap, small, portable bluetooth speaker to use when sitting out the back during the summer. Wanted something with an aux in socket so the missus could occasionally use it on the upstairs TV which sounds rubbish.
The guy in Curry's couldn't get the one i was interested in (@ 60 quid) working on the demo machine so we ended up in Richer Sounds buying a Sonos Play 1 which ticks none of the above boxes
OH is figuring out if/when she can afford a Sonos Playbar despite not having heard one in action yet.

I paid much more then this, but it ticks all your boxes and the sound quality is superb for such a small device.

They are very good to, I have one in the bathroom for shower karaoke!
Sounds very good, battery is very good and it has a aux in socket.

Yes I realised that, but would be good to throw it up at the start line to see how long it keeps up!Not sure I would ever like to throw one in the water like they do on the promo video though!
Should make Mountain biking and walking the dog a lot of fun too!
