And this is not even using half of it woohoo

Very jealous! I keep meaning to dig all my old childhood scalectrix out of the loft and get it working again.

yes

I woke up after a couple of quite drinks the night before to tell me i had backed a bloody sandwich knife.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/332642838/its...

Basically a knife with two blades that doesn't cut all the way through.

I was a chef, even drunk me is quite capable of not cutting all the way through a loaf of bread if i desperately need to make a sarnie. banghead

I saw that and thought WTF... surely people are not that lazy, its not exactly the same as making a Soufflé, its aiming the knife and slicing a piece of bread roughly the same size as the last.

Yet there is a knife for that...

Pray it doesnt get through kickstarter.

I'll let you come round and argue the finer points of race circuit design with my five year old if you want, you won't win! Originally they were right across the track...

Got a pair of V-Moda M100 Blacks.

In the UK they are £250, just got them for a cool £158 using Amazon.it

http://www.amazon.it/dp/B00A39PPDK/ref=pe_386201_4...

They are supposed to be an amazing set of headphones and often ranked in the top 5 regardless of price.
Ordered on Saturday...

Arrived today.

Stranger yet... ordered via Amazon.it, arrived from Amazon.de.

Awesome piece of kit, love them.... frivolous as hell and they are truly amazing.

I'm really strongly considering buying an FIA certified race helmet (£350) and having a nice custom paintjob done on it (probably another £350).

Currently I do 2 motorsport events per year that require a certified lid; the team I drive for provides a plain one for all their drivers to share. Everything else I do is already covered perfectly by my £65 ACU-approved motorbike helmet.

Am I frivolously mad?

You're not mad, but you are one letter away from it.

What's the team that you drive for?

When I was a student, £700 was a huge amount of money - pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to justify spunking it on a helmet. Then again, you're not your average 23 year old!!

Eh... What happened to the well paid job that you was telling everyone about?

Finish Uni and already had a job all sorted, thought it was Match thread that you said that on.

That is my job, for a year, as an industry placement. It will hopefully lead to an equally well paid similar job from the company when I graduate

What new course can we expect you to be on next year then?

Explain please how being on a sandwich course with an industry placement year is going to result, in your weird logic, in me switching to something entirely different?
