Apparently I'm not allowed to buy anything before I ask her? She's not always at home so its not always possible. That one never really got sorted. I would have been in serious s t if I'd brought another one home. Oops

croyde said: Ermmmm! Isn't that BB gun illegal as it looks realistic. I thought they changed the law so that all BB guns had to be made out of or painted in day-glo plastic colours. Unless you are a member of a skirmish club, which I am sure you are. My Leatherman is almost permanently on my belt even when I am not working and I suppose that they are now illegal due to 3 ins blade that locks Not at all illegal to own a RIF (realistic imitation firearm) it is illegal to sell them to people without a valid defence of having one nowadays, so you cant just rock into an airsoft shop and buy a RIF off the shelf without having a good reason for having one. The current accepted "licence" is UKARA which all skirmishers after no less than 2 months and 3 games get themselves onto so they can buy trouble free! As an example I imported this into the UK at the begining of May, no problems at all (other than a delay with UKBorder Agency) Just do it sensibly and with a valid defence against he violent crimes reduction act 2006 and you will be fine... but I dont suggest running about the street shooting at kids with their nerf guns with one of these, as it will result in some real guns being pointed at you in short order!

That was my understanding of it too. About 6 years back a cousin of mine had a decent collection of the full-size electric airsoft replicas- M4A1, M16, Knights SR16, AK-74M, Uzi, MP5sd, Vz61, SG553, Spas-12, a ton of accessories/attachments for them, along with a number of pistols. These had all been imported from Japan through a reputable shop on his behalf (at an eye-watering cost). Fortunately for him he had moved onto other things by the time it became increasingly difficult to get hold of them, and he has now since sold most of them to fund his car habit. It was certainly an impressive collection, and although they were rarely used (he was more a collector) we did have a LOT of fun when they were. For him they were most certainly frivolous!

To add to my earlier posts I also have cupboards full of Autoglym, a loft FULL of Scalextric (from 1973-2011) and a garage full of Porsche wheels.
I hope that you didnt pay too much for those 6" and 7" 16" boxster wheels? I bought a mint set with crested centres and matched tyres for £110 three years ago...
