Popped into Ikea on the way home tonight, and managed to spend £129

Most frivolous purchases were a £7.50 electric scewdriver (it'll probably be crap), and a clock thing that, depending on which edge you stand it on, is a clock, thermometer, countdown timer and alarm clock. For £4.50 I thought it was an irresistible purchase. smile

Love Ikea's naming system. Somewhere in an office sits a team who are charged with naming things. "What shall we call the electric screwdriver?" 'I know! skruvmejsel!" "Nah, lets call it 'Fixa"

Brilliant.

Another new lifejacket.

I got the Crewsaver Ergofit Offshore 190 when I started doing some RIB driving, it is great, and I got a really good deal on it, at the time the only one better was the Spinlock Deckvest 275. Lo and behold Spinlock are selling their old models on ebay for £100 (full retail was about £250) so I have ordered one.

I will pass my Crewsaver onto my girlfriend when I buy a boat (she's only slightly built, 190n will be more than enough for her).

Plenty and still taking plenty as we're building a second site right next door but unfortunately I cannot share them.

OK, so I have a £15 Amazon gift card - I don't need anything specifically - what do people think I can possibly buy that is completely frivolous?

I just need to spend it today and will post a picture of the item(s) as and when I get them. smile
