Papa Hotel said: Quite. She asked "How much did that cost?" as she pointed at the pile of stuff in the back of the car. "Thirty quid." I said, being economical with the truth... her finger seemed to be pointing specifically at the Dremel. She thought I'd get a Dremel, cutting discs, an extension lead and a set of drill bits for 30 quid! And that, that is why we keep buying this s t, because they never challenge it. On the chainsaw, they aren't as much fun as you'd think. My old man had a brilliant Stihl one, it was frigging hard work though, but certainly easier than breaking out the bandsaw. It's still in my mother's garage, hasn't been fired up in a few years, I should probably get it serviced. My dad's got a Husqvarna (sp) petrol chainsaw, bloody brilliant, the gf had a 30ft tree in the front garden, i was'nt allowed to use the chainsaw up the tree, which in hindsight was probably a good idea, so in return, i had to use a bandsaw to cut the top thick branches off, however, i then got to cut the last 15ft down with the chainsaw, it did it surprisingly quickly, i then ran out of things to cut down, so i cut all the branches (even 1cm thick ones) into 2ft long pieces & when i had nothing left to cut after that i chainsawed slices into the stump of the tree. When asked why i was doing this (i wanted to still use the saw for something) my return was that it'd stop the tree growing back again if you score the stump.

I know I have spent a good couple of hours on there today seeing what I can get and have a shortlist of things I want/need now just need to find a way of getting them hidden in the house/garage s t the bed! Don't go near that site people. That is an absolute money sink! agreed! Today is pay day and ive just bought; a cereal killer spoon a usb powered chainsaw ( i mean everyone needs one right?) a handgun egg frying mold a crystal skull shotglass will inform how the chainsaw works once it is delivered!

I also want your bike. Not getting the bike! Your'e looking at Alpe D'Huez in the background. We rode up the other side of the valley from Bourg D'oisains. Very near Villard Reymond. Stunning palce to ride. Flickr set here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/23318875@N02/sets/721...

Last things of mine - a 1/4 scale model of the Predator: And after a while of waiting for one to come up at the right price, an Aliens motion tracker: And lastly, not the most recent, but as i've just managed to get it back on display, my Tomcat: Next up was supposed to be a new full stainless exhaust for the Alfa from Dan at Autolusso, but due to the HG going on it and the subsequent credit card bill (and the fact that the downpipes I had fitted for the MOT are resonating like mad, im going to have to look for a cheaper system. Is that the ghostbusters toaster I see. Ectotastic! ooooooh my god! I just seen what looks like a ghostbusters trap! where, when and how much. im hard thinking of it. When I die my wee brother is making my coffin into the ghostbusters trap.

I've just been reminded that 'we' bought the Fat Duck cookbook when we went there. It's bloody huge, was bloody expensive and the recipes are bloody complicated, so it can't actually be used as a cookbook.
