If you can be bothered to rebuild it really is a bargain compared to buying coils! Think I've spent £30 in the last year on wire & cotton rather than spending that in a couple of months on pre-made coils

Made my first decent fused clapton coils this week which took lots and lots of practice but it's so rewarding, the flavour beats any pre-made coil

DIY juice was also a game changer in reducing costs, my all-day vape was costing £40 a fornight but now it's £4 every three weeks or so which is nice

as above, costs mainly, initailly you may spend more, but overall it is cheaper. although saying that i purchased a 48pc selection from gearbest yesterday for £4 delivered, should keep me going for a while and saves me fiddling around with making them myself.

i always used to use prebuilt coils, but have slowly started getting into building tanks, i tend to stay away from drippers as i cant be bothered dripping every few hits.

and also mentioned above all you need to do is pull the cotton out, heat the coil to burn any residue off, then re wick and off you go! flavour and cloud depends on juice but overall is much better than the standardised coils you find in the atlantis/kanger coils etc

Just to say I am very impressed with the Elements Liquid

Limon/Watermelon chill - Lovely cool Lemon on the inhale and nice Watermelon on the exhale

Strawberry Cupcake - Really subtle strawberry, then Vanilla and Cake on the exhale (not sure how they achieve a cake taste but they do) must say with this one as well its definitely one of the more natural flavourings I have had as opposed to artifical chemically ones

Does anyone else get sore lips and blisters occasionally?

I'm not getting the liquid on my skin, and the end doesn't seem too hot, but i've recently started to develop little blisters/ulcers on my lips.

Don't know why this is suddenly happening.

Have you recently moved to e cigarettes? also, what ratio and nicotine level e liquid are you using?

Didn't look at much in this thread, but could you kindly give more info about DIY (where to get, how to do). If not too complicated I think I fancy to try to mix some of my own. More to get the taste right, rather than cost saving (bought bottles last for ever).
If it makes difference I'm using kangertech subtank mini + 0.5 / 1.2 ohm thingy.

Started about 12 months ago, and am using a reasonably cheap set up with 3mg/ml nicotine

Check out planet of the vapes forum, plenty of info there for all things e-cig.

On another note, if anyone is anywhere near Crewe check out Sonix Vapours, their juice range is huge, their own brand "colacoaster" (cola and lime) is my new go-to, best juice I've tried. They also have some bargains like 3x 10ml juices for £1, crazy.

Really nice.

I then got talked into a Smok H-Priv which looks awesome but it's a bit too big to carry around!

Hmm, unsure then, if in doubt seek expert medical advice.

i have heard of problems when initally moving over to e cigs, including me, i had blisters and ulcers for a few weeks till my mouth settled back down. i was advised to drink plenty of water as i found i was always thirsty when i vaped.
i was told it was something to do with the bacteria in your mouth returning to normal, how true this is, i dont know

That's really helpful thanks. It could be that I'd changed to a different flavour that may be causing it.

cheers

Easiest was is to mix by weight, you'll need scales that can read down to 0.01grams, I use a cheap eBay jewellers pocket scale but it's a pain in the arse if your mixing more a lot of concentrates and higher amounts as the auto switch off kicks in just as I'm about to finish!! I need to get some decent scales now with the amount I'm mixing.

Guide to mixing by weight and the ejuice calculator here:

http://youtu.be/VnqKrlSgQO8

Ejuice recipes & calculator:

http://e-liquid-recipes.com/list?q=&exclsingle...

Empty bottles I get from The Juice Cabin plus usually pick up a few Capella or TFA concentrates that I can't find on other sites. Tend to mix up a new sample recepie in 10ml bottles then mix up my favourite ones in the 30 or 50ml bottles. Also worth picking up a few syringes, 1-10ml for nic, 10/20/30ml for VG & PG plus a blunt needle each for your nic/pg/vg. Lower gauge better for VG as its much thicker than PG. And get some white sticky labels to label the bottles so you know what's what wink Stick down the juices name/flavour, nicotine mg/% and VG/PG ratio plus the date you made it. Some juices are good to go, some take a day or so to steep others take a month like complex Vanilla Custards etc.

http://www.juicecabin.com

Concentrates I get from a few places (always missing one or two from one site so have to get from elsewhere)

The main brands I use are:

Capella
TFA/TPA (same company just different names)
Flavour Art
Flavour West
Inawera
Flavorah

These stores below stock most of what you'll want.

http://thee-cigshop.co.uk/index.php?route=module/a...
https://www.rainbowvapes.co.uk/#
http://www.juicecabin.com
http://www.flavourart.co.uk

Loads of other places but these are the main ones I use.

For the base liquids (nicotine, vg & pg) I use Darkstar Vapour. I get my Nic in pg as its easier to work with than VG.

I read a lot of https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/ and Planet of the vapes threads, use www.1dotml.com for calculations and there are loads of starter recipes on http://e-liquid-recipes.com/

I bought all my equipment from www.vapeable.co.uk, they have a good range of syringes and bottles as well as decent base liquids and a full range of flavourings. There are probably better suppliers but I know that their next day delivery is good if you order soon enough and they have a rewards system that keeps me going back!!

Hi All,

Bit of advise if anyone has any about Thailand. I'm heading there next month and had my jabs last night at the docs. She told me Vaping is Illegal in Thailand with some pretty strong penalties.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

Cheers

It was all good when I went there a year or so ago, things can and do change pretty quickly though.

Saying that, found this https://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comm...
and

But then this place seems to show that all is alive and well... https://www.thailandvapers.com/threads/emergency-e...

Lit a cigarette for someone the other day... yuk! So odd to find them distasteful after so many years of smoking.
