That's mine showing against yours on my my Ipad.

I have just lit up my usual real fag (Silk Sluts) as my E-Cig has just run out of battery. And to be honest? I prefer the taste of my E-Cig, hopefully this placebo effect will last.

Nicotine is about the least harmful substance in cigarette smoke.

It is a poison about the same way caffeine is.

Why anyone would want to encourage anyone to keep using tobacco baffles me, of course they would prefer everyone to go cold turkey....not gonna happen.

This is my latest set-up:

eGo Vision Clearomiser, raspberry flavour nicotine juice, eGo battery.

Almost the same set up as me. My tank's bigger though! smile

I have a whole selection of juices. Quite enjoying cherry at the mome, but usually fall back on a mix of tobacco and menthol for everyday use. I get most of my juice from the XO range at libertyflights as they go up to 36ml nicotene, gets a good hit of nicotene without puffing all the time.

For those wondering what to go for, these seem to be about the best set up without going into really serious mods and stuff.

My greatest fear is that the government will then start to try and regulate it so it can tax it. Which probably explains some of the purpose of the video.
The pharmaceutical companies will be pressurising the government, as the popularity of ecigs rises they will be hit in the pocket due to possible falling sales of their nicotine release quitting smoking products. I can see the aparatus being ok but the juices being regulated soon enough.

Not quite - it doesn't exactly take a huge amount of the stuff in pure form to put you in a box.

Yep after I started e-cigging I tried a few fags afterwards for a couple of days or so, but actually found I prefferred the e-cigs so haven't had a cigarette since. About 2 months now.

Just gotta make sure and always have a charged battery near, in case. smile

Which is why it's vaped and not drunk straight out of the bottle! smile

Ok fair point, but any nicotine delivery system has to be better than tobacco.

And try drinking 50 double espressos - if you want to wake up dead that is. hehe

They already are and have been for a few years already. I believe there's already been legal challenges by the pharma companies. I expect that money and vested interests will get there eventually. Not sure how to stop it though.

I've got one. Frankly it's no replacement for a normal cigarette, but when I'm at home (after work) and I've got a craving in the evening, it works very well. Can stay inside and have a puff or two, and it's always available (i.e. no hunting for a lighter or a packet etc). Can be difficult to guess when you've smoked the equivalent of a ciagarette, and if it loses enough charge it tastes awful. I tend to (socially) smoke at work/the pub though, and e-cigs don't lend themselves well to social smokers.

That's becuase the cheap, ciggy like ones don't give a good enough vapour or with enough nicotene.

You will know when you've had enough when you've had enough. If that makes sense? smile

It's the reason I upgraded to a non cigarette style vaper, and the reason, I suspect, that those that stick with vaping will usually soon upgrade.

smile Yup,probably is, although I doubt it works quite as well as a good cigar, or even a cigarette at the right place, right time.

Not tried coffee fest but 10 pints of full fat Coke was enough for me. I've had far more bearable hangovers from a heavy night on the naughty pop.

I started out with the Riva 510 and am now using a Screwdriver which is very very good! I have it hanging around my neck most of the day.

The moment I inhaled with the Riva for the first time was the last time I smoked smile That's after smoking for 20 years, 40-60 a day in recent years.

The only thing that bothers me is the sore mouth and thirst. But it's a small price to pay really smile

Italian cake is my favourite flavour!

I've got a Titan 510 and a custom made briar pipe. The pipe is ace, although I get the piss taken out of me a bit.

As has been said, you can sit at work and happily vape away without having to brave the weather. To anyone complaining about nicotine in the vapour, there is next to none. Some good links on www.ukvapers.com.

UK Vapers also has a huge list of suppliers for all thing e-cig related.

I can recommend eCigWizard. I've used them and they are reasonably priced, fast delivery & very helpful the one time my order got messed up.

Mate from work and myself bought a couple of the disposable ones from tesco to see what they were like then bought the 510 starter kits from www.paddypuff.com
Bought 80 cartridges between us which should do me for a few months. Might invest in one of the more expensive ones in the future.
The e-pipes would add a certain something in the work place if I had a job that required me to use it to point at things.

I don't smoke but I've always wanted to, but I just can't seem to get along with it.
Every New Year I make it my resolution to become a 20 a day man but I've got no will power and end up quiting by about Jan 4th.

These new e-cigs sound like they might be the answer, a stepping stone to the real thing.

Thoughts?
hehe

Sorry, smug non smoker. I'll bugger off now onto another thread. getmecoat
