Best advice guys please. Have been using a Kanga T2 with an eGo battery for a while now but seem to be going through coils at a ridiculous rate and flavour seems to have vanished. Coupled with that the last box of coils/wicks I bought were nearly all faulty

Can anybody recommend a clearomiser at the budget end? What about the MT3 or the Evod?
Kangertech Evod £2.14 and five pack of coils £2.33

But also worth a look might be the Kangertech Protank 2 for £6.93 feels beautiful quality, and is Pyrex tank rather than plastic so you can use citrus/cola flavours no problem, and uses the same coils as the evod, so less messing around.

All Health Cabin products are genuine quality items, and postage is done by weight with DHL (which takes 4 days to get to the UK, with full tracking) , so if you took my advice and bought 2 x 1.8ohm Evods, a protank mini 2 and 10 x 1.8ohm coils then the total cost would be just over £26 inc fast delivery, or about £20 with Air China (not used Air China though). They're long & established, I started buying from them as a result of someone on here recommending them!

Alternatively, how about Vision X.Jet Spider available here for £2.99. Not worked out what coils it takes though, and haven't personally tried them but have read good things.

Can anyone suggest or supply a link for decent coils for my Evod. I've been buying them from the local shop but the quality isn't there. Some are fine, and some just don't work.

Also, what does ohms mean when choosing a wick? My shop doesn't have a choice, just wicks / coils at £2. ( i assume a coil is the same as a wick? )

To anybody still on cigs, go for it! I have went from 40 Marlboros a day to zero overnight with my Evod
Hang on - coils at £2? Each?! Sheesh. I know a man's gotta make some money, and this outlay in terms of staff, rent, rates etc is going to be considerable, but that sounds a lot to me, especially if you're not getting genuine Kangertech coils (boxed in a blister pack like pills to avoid contamination?) but are getting low quality clones?

It's a shame that the minimum band of DHL shipping at Health Cabin is so much, but I guess if you could buddy up with someone, or if you needed some more stocks of other things you might be able to make ordering a few packs worthwhile.

Alternatively, eBay isn't a bad place ( at a glance, £5.99 for a pack of five, delivered).

On the subject of ohms, I am no expert, however stolen from somewhere else:

You could use the old plumbing analogy they teach in Tech Schools:

Amps = How much water is moving through the pipes.
Resistance = How big the pipe is. (Inversely. Higher resistance = smaller pipe)
Volts = How hard the water is pushing. i.e. "Water Pressure"

Less resistance (lower number of ohms) = more electricity flows. More resistance (more ohms) = less electricity flows.

So, all else being equal (i.e. your battery), a low resistance atomiser will give you a hotter vape, because more electricity is heating the coil.

So 1.5ohms will provide more vapor which is warmer (but drain your battery faster), while 2.2/2.5 ohm will give you less vapour and a cooler vape (all else being equal - ie your battery).

Or the lower middle ground which has a good balance is 1.8 ohms I feel.

OK - so i ordered the kanger evod starter kit. It arrived yesterday, currently trying arctic mint liquid from smok shop. So far so good! I do however have a couple of questions, if you don't mind.
- Do these things need to be stored upright? I put them both on bedside table last night and this morning there was a small amount of liquid dripping out, so had to tkae them boith apart and clean them etc as when i tried to use it, pretty sure i got some liquid in my mouth, which did not tast nice!
-If they do need to be stored uprigt - how do you gys do this?
- How long should/do the coil units last? just tyring to get an idea of when I should be ordering some more.
- Not very keen on one of the liquids i bought (Golden Virginia), if i want to to change liquid, do i just empty and refill or do i need to wash out the cartridge and/or change the coil unit?

Thanks in advance

8 weeks and I've been through 3 elites and an ego. So I've had enough and I'm giving up completely. They appear to be giving me really bad acne also. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Apparently that is quite common but disappears quite quickly - was reading this on another forum...

Anybody else having quality issues with Kanger. T2 and Evod, numerous tanks and coils are going in a day. Have got new tanks swapped out, coils as well and replaced batteries. Just getting no vape after a day. Coils are genuine as they come out of blister packs. Have also had lots of leaking, burning and liquid turning cloudy.

We have had them 4 months and never had issues until last two weeks. Shop thinks they have had a bad batch as not only us mad

Kanger's quality control isn't always the best.

Get a higher level of nicotine and smash the fk out of it. No harm in vaping non-stop to start with, I did and just passed the 200 day barrier and £4500 saved.

So chaps been using my Kanger T3 kit for a while, happy enough with it but it's getting a bit tired now. Been thinking of the Innokin how are you chaps who have it getting on with it?

Any other recommendations around the £50 mark?

Started both the basic e vod kit to see if all that was said on here was true, using Vape escape. It worked, stopped smoking the next day, from smoking drum roll ups with no filter to nothing at all in 24hrs. I also experienced a few of the problems described in previous posts, liquid leaking into my mouth etc... Decided to upgrade, settled on a Cool Fire 1 again from Vape escape, it meant buying a charger/ batteries and was over £120 all in if I remember right. Proper bit of kit, constant 1.8 ohms, battery level indicator, looks good and stands up as it has a wide base, feels very well made. Wife takes the pxxs because it looks like something Dr Who would use!

So to KT and others looking for recommendations I would say its worth spending the extra.

Also it came with a metal drip tip which I didn't get on with (cold on the lips) so probably worth getting a plastic one at the same time.

Good luck all

Oh, just to add the batteries don't last ages, depending on use. I always carry a n extra one to be on the safe side, they are only small.

Morning all. It's my first time posting in this topic but I have been vaping over the past 6 weeks and I'm very happy with the results. My current set up includes ego-T 1100 & 650 batteries with an Aspire BDC Maxi tank and an Aspire e-Pen. I'm still trying different juices but my current favourite is iced menthol, which is a little weird as I hated menthol cigarettes!

I've now starting thinking about buying a mod and my eye is drawn to the iTaste VTR V2. Has anyone on here had any experience of it? How long does the battery last? Anything else I should be looking at? I've been reading reviews online and also on the iTaste MVP but I prefer the look of the VTR due to the tank being contained within the unit itself.

Aspire trumps Kanger, that has been my experience.

The loss of tobacco revenue must be hitting them hard.
