I've tried a couple of disposable e-cigs over the last couple of days, and I am pleasantly surprised.

I'm thinkig of ordering an eGo CE4 starter kit. However, I need to also order the liquid, which comes in 10ml bottles.

How many cigarettes does a bottle equate to?
I estimate a 20 a day smoker would use about 3 or 4ml per day.

More at first though as you need to vape a lot to break your connection with tobacco.

There are many places where you can buy 100ml bottles pretty cheaply, but that's in the future when you know what flavours you prefer.

You do know that CE4s are pretty old school now? I would recommend an Aspire BDC starter kit.

MVP2 ordered should be here in a day or 2, excited after reading the reviews, current setup is an 850mah Ego with Kanger T3 so think this will be a step up

No, I am not aware that CE4's are old school.

I am a complete newbie to this.

I would appreciate a link to the product that you recommend.

TIA

I've ises CE4s since day one. I quit from 30 cigs a day overnight six months ago and moved down to 0mg nicotine two months ago.

I give up vaping at the end of Maybif all goes to plan.

Just because there are other things around doesn't make CE4s no good anymore.

Thank you. I'm off to Google the Aspire kit.

Thie bold bit interests me. I thought that the average disposable e-cig was the equivalent to 20 cigarettes. The first one that I used only lasted a few hours - (about the same time that I would normally use 10 cigarettes).

I've "puffed" far less on the e-cigs than I would on a real cigarette, so I guess that each puff on the e-cig gives much more nicotene than a puff on a real ciggie. Is this correct?

The CE4s do work it's just that things have moved on a bit.

Just Google Aspire starter kit and you will find lots.

The forumla for equivalency of e-cigs/tobacco cigs is a bit of a mystery to me, I just vape whenever I feel like a few puffs, you would do better asking the experts on vaping forums like UK Vapers or Planet of the Vapes.

Morning all,

I quit smoking 3 weeks ago.. I started off with a ego type ecig and a dual coil bottom feed clearomiser, like this:

It worked and done the job of keeping me away from ciggies, but have now realised it's not enough, either I was going to go back to ciggies or up rate my ecig...

So I'm now using a sigelei v5 with a collection of aspire tanks... I.e aspire bdc ET-S and the aspire nautilus...

Can't go wrong with this setup mate...

confused

I didn't see anyone say they were no good.

I did see someone post that things have moved on... and they have.

got the eVic package and it came with tornado-T atomiser and tornado ego-c cartridges as the package.

Will get a tank but want to use these up first.

Quick query as being a newbie Im not wanting to do something stupid as there is no instructions online.

Fired up the eVic and put the atomiser on the top, then filled up the cartridge with e-liquid (didnt realise it came with so many health warnings) and then its just attach it to the atomiser and start vaping isnt it?

There is nothing special I have to do to the atomiser as a first time use or the cartridge doesnt need anything other than placing in the atomiser?

There was no instructions and dont want to damage it on first use by not asking the really obvious stupid questions

As long as the battery is charged you should be fine

Make sure its switched on and you will likely have to press a button to get it to work (I didn't know this when I first got my kit)

Me again. Following on from the issues that I was having the Aspire BDC tanks then decided to pack in after a day as well!

Went to the shop and the only other options they had was an MT3, so they replaced my 3 faulty tanks with 4 x new MT3s (at least I think that they are MT3s)

All seems to be going swimmingly with them but the only issue is I cannot see how you replace the coil. It appears to be the whole bottom unit that you replace but when you look for MT3 replacement they look similar to the EVOD coils

These particular ones also have a longer centre post than the EVOD. Google images finds these but no idea where to buy them as everybody seems to show the replacement coil heads when you look on the sites

I think it goes like this:

MT3 = replace complete part.

MT3S = replace atomiser only (it unscrews from bottom part)

Certainly appears to be the case. Problem being I can't find anybody selling the repalcements for the MT3

Think I might get a Nautilus sometime soon anyway biggrin

It's also worth leaving your clearomiser to soak up the juice for 5-10 minutes before use to avoid burning the wick on a new coil. Optional: prime the wick and coil by inhaling without pressing the button while covering the air hole (only do this a couple of times or you can flood the coil).

You never get rid of the burnt taste and you've wasted a perfectly good coil. Burnt wick tastes like the inside of a badger's arse!

The Aspire Nautilus is the best non rebuildable atomiser I've tried and I'd definately recommend. FYI there are some fakes on the market which were passed off as legitimate. There's a verification page you can visit to enter the serial on the packaging to see if you have a counterfeit model.

I tend to agree but they look a bit top heavy on an eGo battery. Better on a Vamo or similar.

Talking of best clearos the Naturevape ones are awesome and pretty unique in that they use cotton wicks and micro-coils. They take seconds to re-wick as well.

I had this problem, ended up switching to EVODs instead. The MT3s are apparently rebuildable though
