Personally, I have to have PG for that hit in the back of the throat.

VG just doesn't do it for me. But I don't mind 20 or 30% in the mix for that extra vapour.

But each to their own.

I hate to keep banging on about Naturevape, but they are perfect for trying different flavours, try a flavour, whip out the cotton wick, replace the wick then try another.

But then I am lucky, I am sorted for flavours. So long as they are fruit flavoured I'm happy.

I gave up with Evod crap last night and went back to the CE4 which, whilst not as good on paper, continues to work unlike the bloody Evod.

I'm prepared to give it on yeast try, but have now found out that there are different could for different ohms. I did Physics to O'level 30 years ago and that was the last time I ever used that word.

So here's the question I've got some Vision spinners that go from 3.3v to 4.8v and are described as 1300mh (I think). I have no idea what any of that means, nor do I actually care. All I want is a link to the best place to buy a final set of these coils from for an Evod mini pro tank and which ohms as there are at least three of these advertised.

Please just give me a simple answer, rather than a load of techno gobbledy gook though.

Low ohms equals more vapour, and throat hit. Up to you which you'd prefer - I know I tend to go for the lowest and moderate my usage accordingly.

As for where, can't help, haven't used an evod for some time (although I found them to be very reliable).

Perhaps an alternative would be an iclear30 from innokin? Top coil like your ce4 (far less likely to leak ime) but dual coil so really satisfying vape.

At the moment on their site they are only stating that they are partnered up with SpaceJam and Drakes. That said, I'm not overly happy with the service and it appears that I am not the only one. There's a lot out there about people not receiving their packages and being charged for next months package already. I think I am going to let it slide for next months package and depending on what comes through I'll probably cancel.
From a customer service point of view, they haven't done a great job.

Re coils, I go for 1.8ohms on a spinner.

But if you're really not happy with what is being produced here I would say try (as you say it's your last attempt) an N-vape coil. Seriously the difference is worlds appart. I know that you get the faff (it's really not that bad, i've got the mrs doing it) but it really is that much better.

Thanks for the links, couple places there I've not heard of so that's more money about to vanish!

I've bought the DIY stuff from Leisure Liquids & Alchemist Cupboard (like a kid in a sweet shop!) there is TONS of nice stuff on there!

I'll probably get one or two other bottles from Liberty Flights (magic mask & Bitter Wizard look worth getting) but will see how I get on next week. Should have enough to make a few different custards up and try making a few fruity menthols.

Talking of custard! I've let my Grants VC steep for almost 3 weeks....gorgeous!!! Well worth getting a bottle if someone fancies a really nice Vanilla Custard

After some help chaps.
Tried looking around the net and searching this thread but after 30 minutes my head is buzzing with words like something-misers, drip tips and coils and I just don't understand a lot of it.

Me and the missus both liked the idea of these vaporisers and bought an unbranded Joyetech ego based one from a uk based seller last year.
It seemed fine at first vaping the redbull and menthol flavour that came with it but only a month later it produced little vapor or taste.
Realised we needed to buy another of the little cartidge thingys with the wick (ce4+ i think) but has never been the same since, even bought ce5+ and tried a kangertech evod that was recommended elsewhere but to no avail.
The ce5+ with menthol in it works ok producing a small amount of vapour so im sure its not the battery or vaporiser part but it seems like any other fitment or juice doesn't work.

Usually leave a burnt, bitter taste on the back of the throat and tongue.

Currently switched to the menthol Gamuccis you can buy in tesco as the whole experience has put me off.

Would really like to have a cool mod such as provari or vaporshark and have loads of lovely vapor and fruity flavours but i'm so discouraged I wouldn't know where to start.

Any advice welcome chaps

Sorry you (it seems along with a number of others) aren't getting on with your kit. I personally would hold off on something like a provari or vaporshark. It's a lot of money to spend at first hit.

Is your ego a twist or one of the smaller batteries?
If it's a smaller one I would recommend either a twist or an itaste VV 3.0

What I would do is get a set of official coils from somewhere like myepack (based purely on great customer service). These will fit your evod http://myepack.co.uk/accessories/protank-evod-coil... personally I would go with 1.8ohms.

That should get you a better working set up. Or see Cottys quoted post near the top of this page.

Resistance levels of the coil.

With a standard 650mah (the bigger the mah number the longer the charge lasts in the battery) eGo battery you need the resistance of your coils to be between 1.5 to 1.8 ohms (IMHO)to get a decent vape.

Coils between 2 and 3ohms really need a variable voltage battery so you can up the voltage to get a decent vape.

Just order low resistance coils i.e. 1.5 to 1.8 ohms and you'll be puffing like a good 'un.

This is my latest ecig (to go with the other 8).

A Vision Spinner 2 (the latest 1650mah version) with a KangerTech EMOW (1.5 ohm). Came from myepack for under £32 delivered.

Vapes very nice, nice looks and has an adjustable airflow. The EMOW sits perfectly on the vision without any collars/plinths.

Have rebuilt a coil to replace the coil that came with it to a microcoil cotton one to get a better flavour and lots of vapour.

The first vape was like someone shoving an ice cold sword down my throat, was not expecting that! Really enjoying it now though, might have to get some strong menthol flavour to mix my own version.

Another nice menthol is thug juice which is a watermelon with tad menthol thrown in. Pretty nice
